Pairing the Advanced Keyfob to your Existing C-Monster System
A. Locate the “program” button on the top of the HPU (Hydraulic Pump Unit), and depress and hold it
for 3 seconds until the LED steadily illuminates green in color. The unit is now ready to be
programmed with a dash switch or remote control.
-Note: With dual units, this procedure need only be performed on one HPU.
B. Next, depress and release the button on the advanced keyfob 1 time. The green LED on the HPU
will initially turn off, and then it will flash steadily indicating that the programming has been
completed. (See Image #1) FPO_Image_#1
C. The advanced keyfob is now programmed.
Using the Advanced Keyfob with your C-Monster System
It requires three steps to operate the PowerPole with the new advanced key fob:
1.
Hold the key fob flat in your hand, like you would a remote control. With your arm at your
side, bend your elbow at 90 degrees and point the remote in front of you. Ensure that the remote is
flat. This is the Starting Position.
2.
Select the pole you want to use:
From the Starting Position:
-To select the Port side pole rotate your wrist counter clockwise.
-To select the Starboard side pole rotate your wrist clockwise.
-When selecting both poles leave the remote flat, in the starting position.
Once the remote is in the correct position to indicate the pole you want to select, push and hold the
button on the remote.
3.
To select the direction and speed that the pole moves up or down, tilt the front of the remote
in the desired direction. This motion corresponds to how the selected pole will react. The speed of the
pole depends on how far the remote is tilted from the horizontal in the selected direction.
After the pole is in the desired location release the button on the remote. If changes need to be made
to the pole’s position repeat the steps to relocate the pole.
