1. For your safety…

● Never use the headphones when driving a car,

using the headphones outside. Failure to do so

● Be careful not to turn up the sound volume too

high. Your hearing can be damaged by listening

objects to enter the transmitter.

● In the dry air such as in winter, you may feel a

About Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless radio

communication technology for the mobile device such

as cellular phones, portable PCs, and other devices. The

Bluetooth devices can be connected without cables and

communicate each other.

About Bluetooth Profile

Bluetooth Profile designates the way of communication

between Bluetooth devices. The system supports the

following Bluetooth Profiles.

A2DP: Advanced Audio Distribution Profile

The profile controls sending/receiving the high-quality

audio contents.

AVRCP: Audio/Video Remote Control Profile

The profile controls the functions of audio/video

devices such as playing, stopping, pausing and volume

control.

About pairing

Pairing creates a unique and encrypted link between

two Bluetooth devices and lets them communicate

with each other. Bluetooth devices will not work if the

devices have not been paired.

Cautions on Bluetooth

communication

• Microwaves emitted from Bluetooth devices may

affect the operation of electronic medical devices.

Turn off this unit and other Bluetooth devices in

hospitals, airplanes, trains, or crowding places.

• Bluetooth devices use 2.4 GHz band, which is the

same as that used by wireless LAN devices and

microwave oven. Interference may occur near

these devices and cause noise, disconnectivity, or a

decrease of communication speed.

• Connection with all Bluetooth devices cannot

be guaranteed. Connectivity, operation, display

indication or function may differ depending on the

characteristics and specification of the devices.

• Some Bluetooth devices take more time to establish

connection.

• To use the Bluetooth functions, the Bluetooth

devices are required to be compatible with the

same Bluetooth profiles as this unit is. However, the

functions may not be available depending on the

specifications of the Bluetooth device even when it is

compatible with the same profiles.

Registering to a Bluetooth

device – Pairing

Before pairing...

• Turn off the iPod.

• Place the target Bluetooth device within 1 m of the

unit.

1 Turn on the target Bluetooth device

and execute pairing operation on the

device to find the unit.

2 Connect the unit to the dock connector

on the bottom of the iPod, then turn

on the iPod.

The unit automatically starts pairing and the

LED indicator flashes rapidly. When the pairing

is completed, flash will become slower after the

pairing completed.

Listening to Music

Preparation:

• Finish pairing between the unit and the Bluetooth

device.

1 Turn on the Bluetooth device.

2 Connect the unit to the dock connector

on the bottom of the iPod, then turn

on the iPod.

The unit automatically turns on and will connect to

the target Bluetooth device.

• If the connection is not completed within five

minutes, the unit automatically turns off. In this

case, turn off the iPod and disconnect the unit,

and then repeat the procedure from step 1.

3 Start playback of the iPod.

Refer to the iPod’s instruction manual for the

operation of the iPod.

• If the target Bluetooth device supports the

AVRCP of the Bluetooth Profile, play, pause and

skip (forward/reverse) functions are available

from the target Bluetooth device.

To stop using the unit,

Turn off the iPod and pull off the unit straight from

the iPod.

Troubleshooting

What appears to be trouble is not always serious. Check

the following points before consult your JVC dealer.

Cannot pair the devices.

☞ You cannot pair the Bluetooth device having sending

function only.

☞ Bring the devices as closer as possible.

Cannot connect the devices.

☞ Pairing is incomplete. Perform the pairing again.

The sound is intermittent/The communication range

is small.

☞ Although Bluetooth® wireless technology can

transmit the contents within the range of approx.

10 m, obstacles (human bodies, metallic objects,

wall, etc.) or radiowave condition may affect the

sound and decrease its range.

☞ The sound may be intermittent in the following

cases. Avoid the following conditions when you use

this unit.

– Places where the wireless local area network is

applied.

– Near the microwave oven.

– Near the other Bluetooth devices.

– Places where the radiowave is used.

No sound.

☞ The connection between the Bluetooth device and

this unit is incomplete. Connect the devices again.

Enregistrement d’un

appareil Bluetooth – Pairage

Avant le pairage...

• Mettez iPod hors tension.

• Placez le périphérique cible Bluetooth à moins d’un

mètre de l’appareil.

Mettez sous tension le périphérique

cible Bluetooth et exécutez le pairage sur

le périphérique pour trouver l’appareil.

2 Connectez l’appareil au connecteur

de dock sur le dessous de iPod, puis

mettez iPod sous tension.

L’appareil démarre le pairage automatiquement et le

témoin DEL clignote rapidement. Quand le pairage

est terminé, le clignotement devient plus lent.

Écoute de la musique

Préparation:

• Terminez le pairage entre cet appareil et le

périphérique Bluetooth.

1 Mettez le périphérique Bluetooth sous

tension.

2 Connectez l’appareil au connecteur

de dock sur le dessous de iPod, puis

mettez iPod sous tension.

L’appareil se met automatiquement sous tension et

se connecte au périphérique cible Bluetooth.

• Si la connexion n’est pas réalisée avant cinq

minutes, l’appareil se met automatiquement hors

tension. Dans ce cas, mettez hors tension iPod et

déconnectez l’appareil, puis répétez la procédure à

partir de l’étape 1.

3 Démarrez la lecture sur iPod.

Référez-vous au manuel d’instructions de iPod pour

les opérations de iPod.

• Si le périphérique Bluetooth prend en charge

le profile Bluetooth AVRCP, les fonctions de

lecture, pause, et saut (vers l’avant/vers l’arrière)

son disponibles à partir du périphérique cible

Bluetooth.

Pour arrêter d’utiliser cet appareil,

Mettez hors tension iPod et retirez l’appareil bien droit

de iPod.

Guide de dépannage

Antes del apareamiento...

• Apague el iPod.

“Bluetooth” è il nome di una tecnologia di

radiocomunicazione ravvicinata senza filo ideata per

periferiche mobili quali, ad esempio, i telefoni cellulari

e i PC portatili. Le periferiche Bluetooth possono quindi

comunicare tra loro senza alcun cavo di connessione.

Informazioni sui profili Bluetooth

I profili Bluetooth specificano la modalità di

comunicazione tra le periferiche Bluetooth. Il sistema è

compatibile con i seguenti profili Bluetooth.

A2DP: Profilo distribuzione audio avanzata

Gestisce la trasmissione e la ricezione di dati audio di

Registrazione delle periferiche

Bluetooth – Accoppiamento

Prima di eseguire l’accoppiamento...

• Spegnere l’iPod.

• Collocare la periferica Bluetooth da accoppiare alla

distanza massima di 1 metro dall’unità.

all’operazione di accoppiamento

affinché possa riconoscere l’unità.

2 Collegare l’iPod all’unità innestandolo

sul connettore del supporto (dock) e,

quindi accenderlo.

L’unità avvia automaticamente l’accoppiamento e

l’indicatore LED inizia a lampeggiare velocemente.

Una volta completata l’operazione di accoppiamento

il lampeggìo diviene meno frequente.

Ascolto della musica

Preparazione:

• Completare l’accoppiamento tra l’unità e la

periferica Bluetooth.

1 Accendere la periferica Bluetooth.

2 Collegare l’iPod all’unità innestandolo

sul connettore del supporto (dock) e,

quindi accenderlo.

L’unità si accende automaticamente collegandosi

alla periferica Bluetooth.

• Se la connessione non si stabilisce entro 5 minuti

l’unità si spegne automaticamente. In questo

caso si deve spegnere l’iPod, scollegare l’unità e

ripetere la procedura dal passo 1.

3 Avviare la riproduzione dell’iPod.

Per informazioni sul funzionamento dell’iPod si

prega di consultarne il manuale.

• Se la periferica Bluetooth è compatibile con

il profilo Bluetooth AVRCP, le funzioni di

riproduzione, pausa e salto delle tracce (in avanti

e all’indietro) sono eseguibili da essa stessa.

Per cessare l’uso dell’unità,

È sufficiente spegnere l’iPod e rimuoverlo dall’unità.

Risoluzione dei problemi

Non sempre ciò che appare essere un problema serio

in realtà lo è. Prima di rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore

JVC si prega pertanto di eseguire le seguenti verifiche.

Non è possibile accoppiare le periferiche.

Non è possibile accoppiare le periferiche Bluetooth

provviste esclusivamente della funzione di trasmissione.

☞ Si suggerisce di avvicinare quanto più possibile le

periferiche.

Non è possibile connettere le periferiche.

☞ L’operazione di accoppiamento non è stata

completata. È necessario ripeterla.

Il suono è intermittente/La portata utile della

comunicazione è piccola

Benché la tecnologia senza filo Bluetooth® permetta

comunicazioni entro una portata di circa 10 metri, essa

potrebbe ridursi influenzando di conseguenza la qualità

del suono a causa della presenza di ostacoli (persone,

oggetti metallici, ecc.) e delle condizioni di propagazione.

1 Acenda o dispositivo Bluetooth

emparelhamento no dispositivo para

Registreren van Bluetooth

apparatuur – Koppelen

Alvorens te koppelen...

• Schakel de iPod uit.

• Plaats het betreffende Bluetooth apparaat binnen

1 meter van het toestel.

1 Schakel het betreffende Bluetooth

apparaat in en voer de procedure voor

het koppelen met het apparaat uit om

dit toestel te vinden.

2 Verbind het toestel met de dock-

aansluiting op de onderzijde van de

iPod en schakel de iPod vervolgens in.

Het toestel start het koppelen automatisch en de

LED indicator knippert snel. Zodra het koppelen is

uitgevoerd, zal de indicator langzaam gaan knipperen.

Luisteren naar muziek

Voorbereiding:

• Voltooi het koppelen van het toestel aan het

Bluetooth apparaat.

1 Schakel het Bluetooth apparaat in.

2 Verbind het toestel met de dock-

aansluiting op de onderzijde van de

iPod en schakel de iPod vervolgens in.

Het toestel schakelt automatisch in en maakt een

verbinding met het betreffende Bluetooth apparaat.

• Het toestel wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld

indien de verbinding niet binnen vijf minuten

wordt voltooid. Schakel in dat geval de iPod

uit, ontkoppel het toestel en voer vervolgens de

procedure opnieuw vanaf stap 1 uit.

3 Start de weergave van de iPod.

Zie de gebruiksaanwijzing van de iPod voor details

aangaande bediening van de iPod.

•

Indien het betreffende Bluetooth apparaat geschikt

is voor AVRCP van het Bluetooth profiel, kunnen

de bedieningen voor weergave, pauzeren en

verspringen (voor- en achterwaarts) met het

betreffende Bluetooth apparaat worden uitgevoerd.

Voor het stoppen van gebruik van het toestel,

Schakel de iPod uit en ontkoppel het toestel in rechte

lijn van de iPod.

Oplossen van problemen

Problemen zijn niet altijd van serieuze aard. Controleer

de volgende punten alvorens uw JVC-handelaar te

raadplegen.

Apparatuur kan niet worden gekoppeld.

☞ U kunt geen Bluetooth apparatuur koppelen die

uitsluitend de ontvangstfunctie heeft.

☞ Plaats de betreffende apparatuur dichter bij elkaar.

Apparatuur kan niet worden verbonden.

☞ Het koppelen is niet voltooid. Voer het koppelen

nogmaals uit.

Geluid wordt onderbroken/Communicatiebereik is

klein.

☞ Met Bluetooth® draadloze technologie kunnen data

binnen een bereik van ongeveer 10 meter worden

verzonden, maar het bereik wordt mogelijk door

obstakels (personen, metalen voorwerpen, muren,

etc.) of de conditie van radiogolven soms kleiner.

☞

Het geluid wordt in de volgende gevallen mogelijk

onderbroken. Vermijd de volgende omstandigheden

of plaatsen bij gebruik van dit toestel.

O párování zařízení

Funkce párování vytvoří jedinečné zašifrované

propojení mezi dvěma zařízeními Bluetooth a

umožňuje jim vzájemnou komunikaci. Zařízení

Bluetooth nebudou pracovat, dokud nejsou spárována.

Upozornění týkající se komunikace

prostřednictvím technologie

Bluetooth

• Mikrovlnné záření emitované zařízeními Bluetooth

může mít vliv na provoz elektronických lékařských

vypínejte v nemocnicích, letadlech nebo místech,

• Vypněte iPod.

2 Připojte přístroj k dokovacímu

konektoru ve spodní části iPodu a iPod

Přístroj automaticky spustí párování a začne rychle

blikat světelná dioda. Po skončení párování se

blikání zpomalí.

Poslech hudby

Příprava:

• Dokončete párování mezi jednotkou a zařízením

Bluetooth.

1 Zapněte zařízení Bluetooth.

2 Připojte přístroj k dokovacímu

konektoru ve spodní části iPodu a iPod

zapněte.

Přístroj se automaticky zapne a připojí se k

cílovému zařízení Bluetooth.

• Pokud ke spojení nedojde během pěti minut,

přístroj se automaticky vypne. V takovém případě

iPod vypněte, odpojte přístroj a postup zopakujte

od kroku 1.

3 Spusťte přehrávání z iPodu.

Pokyny k obsluze iPodu naleznete v jeho návodu

k použití.

• Pokud cílové zařízení Bluetooth podporuje

Bluetooth profil AVRCP, jsou na cílovém

zařízení k dispozici funkce přehrávání,

pozastavování a přesun na další nebo předchozí

skladbu.

Konec používání přístroje,

Vypněte iPod a přístroj z něho vytáhněte.

Řešení problémů

Co vypadá jako problém, není pokaždé vážné. Než

se obrátíte na dodavatele produktů JVC, prověřte

následující body.

Nelze spárovat zařízení.
