GETTING STARTEDGETTING STARTED
PLAYING WITH YOUR R/C VEHICLE
PLAYING WITH YOUR R/C VEHICLE
Adjust headphone fit by moving each earpiece up or down along the frame,
according to the comfort / size of your head.
After each voice command is spoken, wait 1 second before you give the next
command.
Make sure you are playing with your R/C headset and car in a fairly quiet
environment.
Speak clearly and distinctly. Don’t shout!
If the car doesn’t respond in the way you expect, try giving the command again.
Play with your R/C car in a very open area without obstacles like stairs or water
puddles, or foot traffic.
Do not play with R/C car on any uneven surface such as sand or carpet, as it
will decrease the performance. Alsways play on asphalt, or any other smooth
surface.
If the car is acting erratically, such as slow movement, not responding qiuickly,
wide turns, etc. or if the audio in the headphones doesn’t sound clear, try turning
the car and/or earphones OFF and ON again. If problems still persist, change the
batteries.
Make sure your microphone is about 1-2 inches from mouth. The microphone
can pick up unnecessary noises and deem them part of a voice command, thus the
car thinks it is a bad command and does not respond.
Adjust microphone to where it is approximately 1-2 inches from mouth.
Slide switch underneath the chassis
from the “OFF” to the “ON” position.
While wearing the headset, turn on
the volume dial underneath earphone
and adjust volume to a comfortable
audio level, as Dale Earnhardt Jr® is
talking inside yoiur earphones.
Press the button on the side of the
headphone that also has the microphone.
Say the command!
“Let’s go!” “Pit stop.” “Pace lap.”
“Turn left.” “Turn right.” “Victory lap.”
“Back left.” “Back right.” “Finish Line!”
Now you’re ready to race! As mentioned previously, Junior will tell you he’s also
ready. Once you hear him, you can give the car one of nine (9) different race
movements, via voice commands.
Below are the available commands. If command is spoken clearly, the car will
perform the manuever and you will hear responses from the car.
IMPORTANT!
It is important to use the correct command and to
speak clearly at all times. Otherwise the car will
perform a different command or nothing at all.
