SAFETY WARNINGS AND GUIDELINES
This speaker is waterproof with an ingress protection rating of lPX4. This
means that speaker can Withstand the application of “splashing Water“,
consisting of a flow rate of 10 liters per minute, for 5 minutes, at pressures
between SOViSOkPa (7 to 22 psi). While this means that the speaker is
protected from water splashing or rain, it is not protected from more
prolonged exposure or from being immersed in Water. Do not immerse
this product in Water.
Note that this product is only Waterproof When the cover forthe auxiliary
and charging ports is properly secured. Water or moisture getting into
either port can cause damage to the product.
After this device has been exposed to water, it should be thoroughly dried
before continued use,
The device has a protective silicone sleeve, however this does not mean
that it is indestructible or droprproof. Please take care to avoid physical
damage to the product.
Do not subiect the product to extreme force, shock, or fluctuations in
temperature or humidity.
Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners, solvents,
or detergents, For stubborn deposits, moisten the cloth With warm water.
This deVice has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service,
or modify this device.
Keep away from corrosive materials,
Charge the battery before first use and at least once every three months.
This deVice contains a Lithiumrion battery. Dispose of this device only in
accordance with local, state, or federal regulations for electronic waste.

CHARGING
This device contains a rechargeable Lithiumrion battery. The battery should
be fully charged prior to initial use and at least once every 3 months. Perform
the following steps to charge the battery in this speaker.
i. Open the cover seal on the side to reveal the charging port.
2. Using the included Micro USB cable, plug one end into the Micro USB
port on the speaker, then plug the other end into a USB power source,
such as a computer port or wall charger.
3. An LED next to the charging port will glow red while charging is in
progress. When charging is complete, the LED Will turn off.
4. When charging is complete, remove the Micro USB charging cable and
close the cover seal. Ensure that the seal is fully closed and properly
seated to restore the Waterproof status,
POWER
- To power the speaker ON, press and hold the Power button for about 3
seconds, The speaker Will emit an ascending series of notes.
- To power the speaker OFF, press and hold the PoWer button for about 3
seconds. The speaker will emit a descending series of notes.
BLUETOOTH® PAIRING
Perform the following steps to pair this speaker with your BluetoothE
enabled mobile device,
i. Press and hold the Power button for about 3 seconds to power the
speaker on. The speaker will emit an ascending series of notes.
2. Open the settings on your mobile deVice, ensure Bluetooth is turned on,
then perform a search for nearby Bluetooth deVices.
3. When the search is completed, select the MP1554 entry. if you are
prompted for a passcode, enter 0000 (four zeroes). A chime Will sound,
indicating that pairing is successful.
AUXILIARY INPUT
To use the speaker with noanluetoothm enabled deVices, you can use the
included audio cable to connect the headphone output of your device to the
auxiliary input on the speaker. Perform the followmg steps to use a Wired
connection,
i. Open the cover seal on the side to reveal the 3.5mm auxiliary input.
2. Using the included 3.5mm audio cable, plug one end into the auxiliary
input on the speaker, then plug the other end into the headphone output
on your mobile deVice. The Bluetooth radio is disabled Whenever a cable is
plugged into the speaker‘s auxiliary input.
3. When you are finished, unplug the audio cable from the speaker and close
the cover seal. Ensure that the seal is fully closed and properly seated to
restore the waterproof status.
