BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Warning – Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same
or equivalent type.
2. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
3. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery
compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
4. Do not mix dThis equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance of

Pair a Bluetooth-Enabled Mobile Device
1. Turn on MP3862 by pressing Standby button X
2. Press CD/BT button  for two seconds and Standby LED an will rapidly
blink Blue. The unit will automatically search for and pair a Bluetoothenabled device.
3. Turn on your mobile device’s Bluetooth option in settings to search for a
discoverable device with a Bluetooth signal. Select "MRX-MP3862" from
the device results on your smartphone or tablet.
4. When the Bluetooth connection is enabled and the Stereo/BT indicator an

5. Use “0000” if a pairing code is necessary on your mobile device. Find your
music selection on your mobile device, select play and enjoy!
6. While connected via Bluetooth, press the Play/Pause button at to Play or
Pause and the Skip ak / al buttons to go back or advance tracks.
7. To disconnect from paired Bluetooth device, press and hold PLAY button
“” ap. If connection is lost after successful pairing, check to make sure the
distance between speaker and Bluetooth-enabled device does not exceed
33 feet /10 meters.

The MP3862, with built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, makes it easy to
take your tunes anywhere. Choose from a variety of music sources, including
CD/ CD-R / CD-RW / MP3/ WMA formatted Discs, AM/FM Stereo Radio, Audio
devices through Line In port and wireless streaming from Bluetooth-enabled
devices. Please follow these operational instructions carefully. Save them for
future reference.

HOW TO USE THE MEMOREX MP3862
Enjoy your favorite AM or FM stations as desired.
1. Turn on MP3862 by pressing Standby switch X
2. Select the AM/FM mode by pressing the FM/AM button y.
3. Change between bands by pressing the same FM/AM button y
to toggle between both.
4. Select a station by rotating the tuning Channel Selection knob w.
When a station with a strong FM signal is playing, the Stereo/ST
indicator an will light solid.
Headphones Jack
For private listening, insert Headphones with a standard mini plug into this
jack bt. The main speakers will be disconnected when the plug is inserted.
Line-In Jack
Press AUX Button U for LINE-IN mode. Insert one end of an audio cable
(not included) into the Line Out jack on your external audio unit and the other
end into the Line-In jack bt on this unit; the unit will automatically enter the
Line-In mode. Start playback of the external unit and its audio output sound
will be heard through this unit’s speakers.
MAINTAINING YOUR SYSTEM FOR
CONTINUED ENJOYMENT
• When not in use, turn unit off.
• Keep the unit away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• CLEANING THE CD LENS: If the CD lens is dusty, clean it with a brushblower. Blow several times on the lens and remove the dust with the brush.
Finger prints may be removed with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol.
• CLEANING THE UNIT: Do not use volatile chemicals on this unit. Clean by
lightly wiping with a soft cloth.
• If an abnormal display indication or an operating problem occurs, disconnect
the AC power cord and/or remove the batteries. Wait at least 5 seconds,
then reconnect the AC power cord or reinstall the batteries.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Player not working:
• Check the AC connection and/or the batteries are installed properly
• Make sure power is on
Sound not clear or no sound:
• Check volume level
• Check distance between this unit and the connected device (Bluetooth)
• Clean CD lens
No CD Playback:
• Disc is not inserted correctly
• Disc is not compatible
• Make sure CD function is selected
• Make sure the headphones or the LINE IN cable is not connected
