A. Bluetooth Keyboard (ARCHETYPE) pairing
A. Turn on the Bluetooth connectivity feature in Tablet by selecting:
Settings > General > Bluetooth
B. Turn on the ARCHETYPE power switch; the buzzer will sound two
beeps.
C. Press and hold the [connect] button for 3 seconds; the buzzer will
sound three short beeps.
D. The Tablet will display “ARCHETYPE” as an available Bluetooth
device.
E. Select “ARCHETYPE” on the Tablet and a four-digit code will appear
on the screen.
F. Type the four-digit code on ARCHETYPE and press Enter;
ARCHETYPE will be paired to the Tablet.
NOTE: ARCHETYPE remembers the last device it is connected to, to
connect to the same device, simply power on ARCHETYPE and
make sure the Bluetooth feature on the device is turned on,
ARCHETYPE and the device will connect automatically.
Connect button is needed if:
i. Pairing ARCHETYPE for the first time
ii. ARCHETYPE has been paired with another device

D. Troubleshooting
A. I have turned ON ARCHETYPE, and it does not connect to Tablet.
Please make sure that ARCHETYPE is not paired to another device
that is within range. If so, please unpair ARCHETYPE to the other
device.
B. How do I unpair ARCHETYPE to Tablet?
Go to Tablet and select: Settings > General > Bluetooth, and under
select the “>” icon next to ARCHETYPE, and then select “FORGET
THIS DEVICE”
C. What is the “symbol” key, and how does it work?
By pressing the symbol key once, user can insert symbols on Q, W,
E, R, T, Y, U, and I, also control the arrow keys located on the bottom
right-hand corner. To deactivate, simply press the “symbol” key
once again.
E. Remark
The circuit that connects the EUT and PCB is the path which the keyboard
travels to send commands to its processor.
