(3)- SCROLL MOUSE USER GUIDE Introduce With Scroll’s unique ergonomic design, you can surf the Internet or scroll through Windows documents easily. The convenient “Magic Ro ler” only needs one finger to control it so think of it as the ultimate input controller. It can eliminate 30% of your mouse movements. System requirement: 0 IBM compatible computer 0 Win98, Win95 Win NT Win 3.x operating system 0 PS/2 port Installing the mouse: Connecting the Scroller mouse to your computer 1, Turn off the power to your computer 2. If you have another mouse installed on your computer, remove the driver and disconnect it. 3. Connect the Scroller mouse to PS/2 port on the back of your computer 4. Turn the power ON Installing the Scroller mouse driver The following procdure installs the Scroller sofiware so you can use the Scroller functions in Windows. 1. Insert the Scroller Sofiware diskette into drive A or B 2. For Windows98, 95 choose the “start” menu (Ctrl & Esc). For Win 3.x in the Program Manager, choose “File” (Alt & F). Select the “Run” 4. Type A:SETUP (or B:SETUP) in the command line box and press Enter to select OK 5. Now select the PS/2 mouse and click on “Next” to continue. 6. The Setup program will install the driver and add the icons automatically 7. When the installation is complete, the standard option is to restart your computer. (4). Using the Scroll Mouse with Windows 98: 0 The Scroll Mouse is compatible with Microsoft Intellimouse. Scroll Mouse supports Microsoft Office 97 along with some new applications. Features include scrolling and Auto-scrolling features. 0 Button and Roller function Magic-Roller Press the “Magic-Roller” to surf the Internet and Windows documents. Left Button Provides traditional mouse functions such as click, double click and drag. Right Button Provides standard right button functions in application that utilize the right button. Roller ButtonSpecial function for Internet and Microsoft Office 97, it provides Auto—panning by pressing Roller Button. (4).
