Encoders SAFLOKTM encoders are a vital component of all access control systems, transmitting information and commands to/from a credential. Each system is configured to suit the unique requirements of a property. Insertion Encoder • Fastest encoder in the SAFLOKTM product line • Durable and tested to one million cycles •V irtually maintenance-free with maintenance only required for read head •U ses card sensing-device that detects card direction without contact or wear on keycard surface • S pring-loaded encoding/playback head adapts to variations in keycard thickness •R eads upon insertion and checks code upon withdrawal; card slot illuminates green if validated and red if rejected • Input/output for USB, serial, or TCP/IP connectivity • Encodes data to track 3 Height 4.9” •Depth Granted both utility and design 3.9” patent Width Dimensions Power Keycards encoded 4” 4.9”H x 3.9”D x 4”W 6 V DC, .3 A Smart, memory, and magstripe Part # CE6100 Connectivity USB, serial, or TCP/IP Keycard coercivity Low-coercivity keys (300OE) Medium-coercivity keys (600OE) RFID Encoder •Dimensions C onnects directly to 3.75”H PC viax 9.9”D USB xor5.9”W to Ethernet network viaSmart TCP/IP and magstripe Keycards encoded # CE 6010 •Part C onnects to DeskLinc™ via serial port Connectivity USB, serial, or TCP/IP •Keycard Supports MIFARE (ISO 14443A) credentials Low-coercivity keys (300OE) coercivity keys (600OE) •E ncodes a variety Medium-coercivity of RFID credentials, High-coercivity keys (2700OE) such as keycards, fobs, wristbands, etc. •Height Used in conjunction with QuantumTM, SAFLOK RTTM and MTTM RFID locks Depth Dimensions Width Keycards encoded Dimensions Part # Keycards encoded Connectivity Part # Keycard coercivity Connectivity 3.75”H x 7.7”D x 5.9”W Magstripe 6”H x 3.27”D x 1.49”W CE 6000 MIFARE Mini, 1K, and 4K USB, serial, or TCP/IP CERF6000 - System 6000™ CERFS DeskLinc™ Low-coercivity keys (300OE) keysport; (600OE) ToMedium-coercivity PC via USB or serial to High-coercivity (2700OE) Ethernet network keys via TCP/IP port Type 7 Encoder • Three-track motorized magstripe encoder • Connects directly to PC via USB or serial port or to Ethernet network via TCP/IP port • Door lock information encoded on track 3 using custom format (non-ASCII and ABA format) to prevent magstripe and data skimming • Ability to encode third party and point-of-sale device information on tracks 1 and 2 when connected to PMS/POS applications Height • Spring-loaded encoding/playback head adapts to variations in keycard thickness •Depth Ejects keycards with errors or keycards not properly encoded from the back of the unit Width Dimensions Keycards encoded Part # Connectivity 3.62” H x 7.1” D x 4.05” W Various, see table below Various, see table below To PC via USB or serial port; to Ethernet network via TCP/IP port Type 7 encoder Type 7 RFID Encoder • Contactless RFID encoder that supports MIFARE (ISO 14443A) credentials • Encodes a variety of RFID credentials, such as keycards, fobs, wristbands, etc. • Used in conjunction with QuantumTM RFID, SAFLOK RTTM, or MTTM RFID locks Credentials Encoded Part # Encoder Type CE4010 Magstripe encoder CE4020 Magstripe/Smart card encoder CE4030 HiCo magstripe/Smart card encoder CE4110 Magstripe/RFID encoder CE4120 Magstripe/Smart card/RFID encoder CE4130 HiCo magstripe/Smart card/RFID encoder 300OE Low Coercivity • • • • Magstripe 600OE 2750OE Medium (up to 4000OE) Coercivity High Coercivity • • • • • • RFID Credential Options • MIFARE Mini: A cost-effective solution for guest keys.
