Ilco Front Desk Unit (FDU) Overview dormakaba’s Front Desk Unit (FDU) is your all in-one access management unit. This unique portable unit is able to program and audit locks while at the same time managing the front desk need of encoding and auditing keycards. The FDU also offers an 8-hour battery backup feature to continue managing your access control needs during a power outage. It is ideal for small to mid-scale hotels seeking a simple and cost effective solution for managing their access control needs.
