BE-278BE-278 is a high quality’s 2.4GHz cordless video camera system, got the most lifelike’s image and clarity sounds. The transmission range is up to 10 meter (depend onenvironment) so you can take image all around your house freely.Getting StartedCameraBattery Installation1. Unscrew the battery door by screwdriver.2. Remove the battery door and insert 6 “AA” batteries, checking the + and – ends of the batteries.3. Close the battery door and screw it back.We recommend• Do not mix old and new batteries.• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.• Removing batteries if unit is not used for more than 30 days.Power ConnectionImportant: Please use the power adaptor (DC 12V 300mA) came with the unit only.1. Plug in the power adaptor came with the unit to the wall outlet and the base unit.2. Turn on the base unit by switching the POWER ON/OFF switch to ON. The green LED on thebase unit will be turned on.Hooking to TVNOTE: If you want to record image to videotape, you must connect BE-278 to VCR. But if you justwant transmit image to TV, you can just connect BE-278 to TV only.1. Turn off both your TV and the BE-278 base unit.2. Connect the yellow plug to your TV’s VIDEO IN jack and the white plug to AUDIO IN.3. To check the connection, please turn on your TV and both BE-278 base and camera. Switch TV toLINE IN mode than you should see picture capturing by the camera.Hooking to VCRNOTE: Please make sure the connection between your TV and VCR is working properly before installthe BE-278.1. Turn off your TV, VCR and the BE-278 base unit.2. Connect the yellow plug to your VCR’s VIDEO IN jack and the white plug to AUDIO IN.3. To check the connection, please turn on your TV, VCR and both BE-278 base and camera. Switchboth TV and VCR to LINE IN mode and than you should see picture capturing by the camera.
Recording your own video1. Turn on the VCR, BE-278 base unit and the camera. The green LEDs on the base and camera willbe turned on. Put in a blank videotape into your VCR.2. To start recording, press the REC button on the VCR or using your VCR remote controller.3. To pause it, just press the PAUSE button on your VCR or using your VCR remote controller.4. To continue the recording, just press the PAUSE button again or REC button which depend onyour VCR operation.5. After complete recording, just presses the STOP button on the camera then turn it off.NOTE: Depending on the brand of VCR you are using, it may have difference operation for pause andre-recoding operation. Please read your VCR operation manual carefully and follow steps base on it.Play your Video1. Revise your tape to the beginning recording location.2. Press Play Button to review your recorder images.Accessories1. External MIC – The unit also came with a wired external MIC so you can plug it into the MIC jackthat locate in front of camera to pick up sound more clarity.2. Tri port – For you to fix the camera so you can take your picture by yourself.MaintenanceCleaning the CabinetTake cares to keep the unit clean and dry.
