Installing the Batteries
Note: Batteries should always be installed by an adult.
0 Use a Philips screwdrive to open the battery
Compartment door located on the back of the unit.
0 Remove battery holder and replace batteries With 4
new LR44 batteries in the battery holder Re—insert
the holder together with batteries into each Walkie
Talkie With + and - terminals as indicated on the
battery holder.
Replace the compartment door and tighten the
screw With a Phillips screwdriver Do not
over—tighten the screw
For the Best Possible Performance
- We recommend the use oi alkaline batteries for longer life.
' Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon—zinc) or
rechargeable (nickel—cadmium) batteries.
Batteries are to be inserted With correct polarity.
Remove exhausted batteries lrom the unit
Do not attempt to recharge nonrrechargeable batteries.
Remove the rechargeable batteries from the unit before
charging.
' The supply terminals are not to be shon—Circuited
Batteries should be removed li the item will not be
used lor an extended period Oi time, such as a month
or longer, to prevent battery leakage or damage
Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under
adult supervision
Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as
recommended are to be used
Turning Power On/Off
Turn Onlofl Button to left to activate the Walkie
Talkies.
Both Walkie Talkies must be turned on in order to
send and receive messages
Turn Onlofl Button to right to shut down the Walkie
Talkies.
Sending Voice Messages
Press and hold the Talk Button while speaking into the
Microphone.
You Should Know
For clear transmission. keep the antenna pointing
upwards and the microphone approximately two inches
from your mouth.

Receiving Messages
- Both Walkie Talkies must be turned on and have their
antennas pointing upwards in order to send and
receive messages
0 Messages cannot be received while the Talk Button
is being pressed Release Talk Button to listen.
- Messages can be heard through the Speaker.
Playing Walkie Talkie Games
Walkie Talkies can be used tor all kinds orrun games and
activities. Here are two suggestions
Hide and Seek
Just like regular Hide and Seek, but with a twist: the
figer" can send clues to the “Seeker“ using the Walkie

Mystery Sounds
Can you recognize the mystery sound? One kid sends
a sound over the Walkie Talkies, While another tries to
guess what the sound is. Examples can include an
animal. song, TV show. or anything elsel
Maintenance
It is important to keep the Walkie Talkies as dry and Clean
as poseble. You may clean the cabinet with a cloth or
sponge moistened wrth mild soap and water. Do not
attempt to use strong cleansers or solvents. as they may
cause damage.

charge for handling, packing, return UPS/postage and
insurance) This decision is subject to verification of the
defect or mairuhction upon delivery of this product to the
Factory Sewice Center listed below The product must
include proof of purchase, including date of purchase

the batteries [If applicable) With fresh ones, as exhausted
or defective batteries are the most common cause of
problems encountered.
