Remove protective shipping tape allowing for contact with both poles to ensure battery and remote is operational. 3. Plug the receiver outlet into any standard (115V/60Hz) grounded outlet.The night light will illuminate it the unit is installed and the host outlet has power. it the night light does not illuminate check the outlet power with approved outlet tester has power. Be sure the Remote Switch is in the OFF position. Using The Removable Adhesive (optional): 1. Remove the remoteswitch from the wall bracket(see illust. #2). 2. Remove the protective tape from one side of the remov- able adhesive. 3. Adhere the exposed side of the adhesive to the remote switch (sender unit). 4. Remove the protective tape from the opposite side of the adhesive. 5. Select your location for your remote switch and press into place. Caution: Cut a small piece off of the removable adhesive and test in a discrete location prior to use. DO NOT use with delicate or paper wallpaper. May not adhere well to some vinyl wallpapers. DO NOT use for antique. heirtooms. or other valuable or irreplaceable items. NOTE: Apply to surfaces above 50 F (10 C). Adhesive could soften and lose adhesion above 105 F (40 C). For best adhesion clean surtace with isopropyl rubbing alcohol. wipe lightly. let dry. DO NOT use household cleaners on surface belore adhesion. 6. Select your location for vour remote switch and press into place. Caution: Cut a small piece off of the reusable adhesive and test in a discrete location prior to use. Using The Bracket (optional): What you will need: Bracket. pencil tor marking holes. (2) enclosed screws. and screw driver. 1. Select permanent location tor the Remote switch (sender unit). 2. Mark the screw hole location with the pencil. 3. Using a screwdriver, screw the enclosed screws into the wall. Aftix bracket to wall as shown in illust. $3. Be sure it is secure prior to placing the remote switch into the bracket.
