On Safety
Use only the power cord supplied with the unit. In case you use another power

Important Precautions
On Installation
Do not allow anything to rest upon or rollover the power cord. and do not place
the monitor where the power cord is subject to damage.
Do not use this monitor near water such as near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement. or near a swimming pool.
Monitors are provided with ventilation openings in the cabinet to allow me release
of heat generated during operation. If these openings are blocked. built-up heat
can cause failures which may result in a fire hazard. Therefore, NEVER:

Connecting the Monitor
. Before setting up the monitor, ensure that the power is turned off to the
monitor, computer system, and other attached devices.
- Carefully set the monitor face-down with the underside facing you.
Connecting the Tilt/Swivel stand
1. Align the hooks on the tilt/swivel stand with the matching slots in the base of
the monitor,
2. Insert the hooks into slots.
3. Slide the tilt/swivel stand toward the front of the rmnitor until the latches click
into the locked position.

operates normally. It the monitor is in DPM
(Energy Saving) mode, this indicator color changes
to amber.

Use this button to enter or exit the on screen
display.

Use these buttons to choose or adjust items in
the on screen display.
@ SELECT Button
Use this button to enter a selection in the on
screen display.
On Screen Display (OSD) Control Adjustment
Screen Adjustment
Making adjustments to the imxge size, position and operating pmmetels of
the monitor is quick and easy with the On Semen Display Control system A
short example is quick and easy given below to familiarin you with the use of
the controls. The following section is an outline of the available adjustments
and selection; you can make using the OSD.
To make adjustments in the On Screen Display, follow these steps:
MENU —>4 b —-> SELECT -—> 4 V —> SELECT—’MENU
Press the MENU Button, men the main menu of the OSD appears.
To access a control, use the 4 or P Buttons. When the icon you want
becomes highlighted. press the SELECT Buttonr
Use the 4 P Buttons to adjust the item to the desired level.

You were introduced to the procedure of selecting and adjusting an item
using the OSD system. Listed below are the icons, ieon names, and icon
descriptions of the all items shown on the Menu

On Screen Display(OSD) Selection and Adjustment
This item allows you to reduce the degree ol moire.
(Moire Is caused by interterenee Horizontal Scan
Line with the periodical dot screen). it is normally
OFF(H 0).
The moire adjustments may aflect the locus 01 the
screen.
Moire adjuslments may shake slightly while the
moire reduction function is on.

Set the OSD time. Le, the length of time a menu

automatically. Adjust the lime to 5, 10, 20, 30 oreo
seconds.
