Introduction
The LG HBM-300 Bluetooth Headset is a lightweight wireless Headset utilizing
Bluetooth technology. This product can be used as an audio accessory for devices
supporting either the Headset or Handsfree Bluetooth Profiles.

Configuration
Choose Right or Left Ear Wearing Style
The LG Bluetooth Headset HBM-300 can be worn on either ear.
1. Rotate the earpiece to select your left or right ear.
2. Place the Headset on your ear
3. Place the ear-speaker into your ear.
4. Extend the ear ring then slip it over the top of your ear, manoeuvre the
speaker gently into your ear, squeeze the ear ring closed until the Headset
is held securely on your ear.
Charging
Before you can user your Headset, you need to charge it fully.
1. Open the DC jack cover on the bottom side of the Headset first.
2. Plug the charger into the DC jack outlet.
3. While charging, the blue LED indicator light on the Headset is lit, and will
remain lit, until the Headset is fully charged.
4. Charge the Headset for approximately 2 hours or until the indicator lights go
out.
Tip) Low Battery Warning
The Headset needs to be recharged when you hear a short beeping sound through
the Headset’s speaker at 7 second intervals and when you see the blue LED
indicator flash quickly 5 times at 7 second intervals. You have 5 to 7 minutes of
talktime remaining once the low battery warning indicators start.
Power On
Press in and hold the CALL Control button for more than 1 second to turn the
Headset on.
Power Off
Press in and hold the CALL Control button for more than 4 seconds to turn the
Headset off.
How to use
Pairing the Bluetooth Headset with the Handset
Before using your Headset for the first time, you must pair it with another Bluetooth
device, such as a mobile phone. Follow the steps below for most devices.
1. Turn the LG Bluetooth Headset HBM-300 on.
Turn on the Headset by pressing and holding the CALL Control button for at
least 1 second.
2. Place the LG Bluetooth Headset HBM-300 in pairing mode.
Press and hold the CALL Control button for at least 5 second while listening
for a beeping sound. You should hear a series of beeps followed by a
connection signal. The blue LED indicator light begins to flash once every
second.
3. Set your LG Bluetooth Headset HBM-300 to “discover”
Follow the instruction guide for your phone. This usually involves going to a
“setup”, “connect”, or “Bluetooth” menu on your phone and then selecting
the option to “discover” or “add” a Bluetooth device.
4. Your phone will find “HBM-300”
You will be prompted to accept the pairing by pressing “Yes” or “Ok” on the
Handset and to confirm with the passkey or PIN= 0000 (4 zeros). You will
receive confirmation when pairing is complete. If pairing is unsuccessful,
repeat steps 1-4.
If pairing is successful, the blue LED indicator light will flash in standby
mode every 5 seconds. If pairing fails, the blue LED indicator light will flash
once every second. Please repeat these steps.
NOTE) Pairing can be done with up to 3 Handsets maximum
1 The LG Bluetooth Headset HBM-300 stores up to 3 different Handset
registrations in memory.
2 If you add a 4th Handset, the LG Bluetooth Headset HBM-300 will
automatically remove the registration information of the least used Handset.
3 Priority is given to the Handset most recently paired.
4 When you want to change the Handset priority, try to connect manually from
the Handset.
Tip)
Once a Handset is registered to the LG Bluetooth Headset HBM-300 , it will be
stayed in paired status until deleted.
Basic usage of your LG Bluetooth HBM-300 Headset
1. To answer a call
Press the CALL Control button to capture and transfer the call to the
headset.
2. To reject a call
Press the CALL Control button for at least 2 seconds.
3. To end a call
Press the CALL Control button for at least 2 seconds.
4. To make a call
When you are going to make a call with your HBM-300, simply press the
CALL Control button and then the handset will dial the number you have
dialed latest.
In case you make a call from the Handset, the call will (subject to phone
settings) be automatically transferred to the Headset. If not automatically
transferred, you can transfer the call manually by pressing the CALL Control
button.
5. Last number redialing
Activate last number redial by pressing the CALL Control button on the
Headset. (This will initiate voice dialing with some Handsets.)
6. Volume Control
Press the VOLUME UP or DOWN Button to increase or decrease the
speaker volume.
- The Speaker volume is programmed for volume levels 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, and
15.
Transferring a call
To transfer a call from the Handset to the Headset, briefly press the Call Control
button. You can transfer a call to the Headset without ending the call. In the other
case where you want to transfer the call from Headset to Handset, all you do is just
pressing the Call Control button shortly.
Holding Key function
To place a call on hold, press the CALL Control button and the VOLUME UP &
DOWN button simultaneously for at least 1 second.
To turn Hold off, press the CALL Control button and the VOLUME UP & DOWN
button simultaneously again.

Troublehhooting
Check if the battery of the
