Included in the Package
The LG TONE ULTRATM (HBS-810) is a lightweight wireless headset that uses
Bluetooth technology.
This product can be used as an audio accessory for devices supporting either the
A2DP or hands-free Bluetooth prole.

Charging
- When the charger is connected (with the power on or off) the headset will power off.
- While charging, the LED indicator will show a solid red light. When charged 80% or
more, the indicator will show a violet light.

When the device is fully charged, the LED indicator will show a solid blue light.
Low Battery
- A low battery alert will play once every 2 minutes.
- If the battery is not charged, the headset will power off.
Retractable Earbuds
- Pull the earbuds to extend them to the desired length.
- To retract the earbuds, pull the cords out slightly, and they will automatically retract
into place.
- If the earbuds do not retract, pull the earbuds out completely to retract them.
Power On/Power Off
- Slide the Power switch to the ON or OFF position.
Battery Status Alert
- Slide the VOLUME switch to the
“-”
position for 1 second to check the battery status
of the headset.

NOTE: When paired, some mobile devices may display the headset’s battery level at
the top of the screen.
Pairing
How to Use
Before using the headset for the rst time, you must pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled
device.

1) Easy Pairing
a) Slide the Power switch to the ON position.
b) If it is your rst time pairing the device or it does not detect a previously paired
device, it will enter Pairing mode. The LED indicator will be solid blue.
c) Make sure the device you wish to pair with is discoverable. Under the
Bluetooth menu, search for or add new devices.
d) Select LG HBS810 from the list of devices.
e) If asked for a Pass/Pin Code, enter 0000 (4 zeros).
f) Once the devices are paired, you will hear “Your headset paired.” If a
connection has been made, a vibrating alert is generated.
NOTE: The headset will automatically power off if not paired within 3 minutes.
2) Manual Pairing (pairing with another phone or re-pairing)
a) With the power off, press the CALL button and slide the Power switch to the
ON position at the same time for 2 seconds.
b) When the headset enters Pairing mode, the LED indicator will show a solid
blue light. Repeat Easy Pairing steps c through f.
How to Use
Advanced Multipoint
The headset can be connected to two devices at the same time. This will give you the
freedom to use call waiting between calls on both of your connected phones.
Pairing with Two Devices
- First, pair the headset with the Bluetooth-enabled mobile device you want to use as
your secondary device (see Pairing instructions).
- Once paired, power off the headset.
- With the power off, press the CALL button and slide the Power switch to the ON
position at the same time for 2 seconds to enter Manual Pairing mode.
- Pair and connect the headset with your other
Bluetooth
-enabled mobile device. This
will be your primary device.
- Once the primary mobile device is paired and connected with the headset, reconnect
the headset to the initially paired mobile device.
NOTE: If a connection has been made, a vibrating alert is generated.
NOTE: When the headset is connected to two mobile devices at the same time
(Multipoint), the headset calling functions will work with the primary mobile device.
NOTE: If the headset fails to connect to the primary phone through Easy Pairing, it will
enter Pairing mode.

Auto Reconnect
- If in range of each other when the headset is powered on, the headset and the primary
mobile device will automatically reconnect.
- The secondary mobile device will need to be manually connected. Select LG HBS810
from the list of devices in the
Bluetooth
menu and pair.
NOTE: If a connection has been made, a vibrating alert is generated.
Out of Range
- If the paired devices are separated by a range of 33 feet (10 meters) or more, the
headset and mobile device will disconnect, and the headset will vibrate to alert you.
NOTE: To power off device vibration, slide the VOLUME switch to the “+” position and
hold for 2 seconds.
- If the headset and mobile device do not automatically reconnect when they are back within the
required range, briey press the CALL button on the headset to manually reconnect.
- When connected to multiple devices, the paired device that is not in use will disconnect
when out of range.
Calling
- Voice Dialing and Last Number Redial features work with the primary mobile device (or
the mobile device that made the last outgoing call).
Call Waiting
- While on a call, press the CALL button for 1 second to answer an incoming call.
- To switch between two active calls, press the CALL button for 1 second.
- To end both calls, briey press the CALL button.
- If both paired mobile devices are receiving an incoming call, the headset will default to the
primary device.
Calling
Answering a Call
- When receiving an incoming call, the headset will ring and vibrate.
- Briey slide the VOLUME switch to the “-” position to stop the vibration.
NOTE: The headset will not vibrate if vibration has been deactivated.
- Briey press the CALL button to answer the incoming call.
Transferring a Call
- You can manually transfer the call to or from the headset by pressing the PLAY/
PAUSE/STOP button twice on the headset (mobile device and headset must
be paired).

Volume Control
- Slide the VOLUME switch to the “+” or “-” position to adjust the speaker volume.
Caution: Listening to music for long periods of time at high volume levels may
cause hearing damage or loss. To prevent this, the headset will emit a warning
beep when you are using the upper 6 volume levels.
Voice Dialing
- Briey press the CALL button to activate Voice Command. For best results,
record the voice dialing tag through your headset.
NOTE: If your mobile device does not support voice dialing, this action may
activate Last Number Redial.
Last Number Redial
- Press and hold the CALL button for 1 second to activate Last Number Redial.
The headset will beep and then call the last number dialed.
Ending a Call
- Briey press the CALL button.
Call Waiting
- Answer a second call without hanging up the rst call by pressing the CALL button
for 1 second. Press the CALL button for 1 second to return to the rst call.
- Briey press the CALL button to end both calls.
Rejecting a Call
- Activate Call Reject by pressing the CALL button for 2 seconds when the mobile
device rings.
NOTE: These functions may not be available on all mobile devices. For further
information about using these features, please consult your mobile device’s user
manual.
Microphone Mute
- Slide the VOLUME switch to the “+” position and the FF/REW switch to the REW
position at the same time for 1 second to mute/unmute the microphone during
conversation.
Caution: For your safety, do not use this function while driving.

Vibration Control
- To activate or deactivate the device vibration, slide the VOLUME switch to the “+”
position for 2 seconds. You will hear “Vibrate on” or “Vibrate off” when it is activated
or deactivated.
- When vibration is deactivated, the headset will not vibrate when receiving an incoming
call or when it is out of range of a paired mobile device.
- Vibration will automatically be reactivated when the device is powered on.
NOTE: When pairing the headset with a mobile device, the headset will vibrate when
pairing is complete, even if the vibration function is deactivated.
aptX®
The headset features aptX technology that ensures audio content transmitted via
Bluetooth is seamless and crystal clear.
- aptX is automatically enabled as long as the source device supports it.
Equalizer
- While playing music, press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button twice to switch
between Bass Boost (default), Normal, and Treble Boost.
NOTE: The size of the ear gel can affect the amount of bass you hear.
Audio Streaming
Play
- Briey press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button.
Pause
- While playing music, briey press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button.
Stop
- While playing music, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button for 1 second.
Next song
- Briey slide the FF/REW switch to the FF position.
Previous song
- Briey slide the FF/REW switch to the REW position.
Fast Forward
- Slide and hold the FF/REW switch to the FF position.
Rewind
- Slide and hold the FF/REW switch to the REW position.

To download the app, search for Tone & Talk in Google PlayTM*
or scan the QR code. Follow the installation instructions.

2. Potentially explosive atmosphere
Power off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially explosive
atmosphere. Although this is uncommon, your electronic device could generate
sparks. Sparks in such areas could cause an explosion or re resulting in bodily
injury or even death. Areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere are often, but
not always, clearly marked.
3. Emergency calls
IMPORTANT!
This Bluetooth headset and the electronic device connected to the headset
operate using radio signals, mobile and landline networks as well as user-
programmed functions, which cannot guarantee connection under all conditions.
Therefore you should never rely solely upon any electronic device for essential
communications (e.g. medical emergencies). Remember, in order to make or
receive calls, the headset and the electronic device connected to the headset
must be powered on and in a service area with adequate mobile signal strength.
Emergency calls may not be possible on all mobile phone networks or when
certain network services and/or phone features are in use. Check with your local
service provider.
4. Battery information
A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. A new battery
or one that has not been used for a long period of time could have reduced
capacity the rst few times it is used. Do not expose the battery to extreme
temperatures, never above +60°C (+140°F) or below -10°C (14°F). For maximum
battery capacity, use the battery at room temperature. If the battery is used in
low temperatures, the battery capacity will be reduced. The battery can only be
charged in temperatures between +10°C (+50°F) and +45°C (+113°F). For your
safety, do not remove the battery incorporated with the product. If you need to
replace the battery, take it to the nearest authorized LG Electronics service point
or dealer for assistance.
5. Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth headset
The battery in your Bluetooth headset must be disposed of properly and should
never be placed in municipal waste. The LG Electronics service partner who
removes the battery will dispose of it according to local regulations.

- The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original purchaser by
the dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial number, is presented with
the product to be repaired or replaced. LG Electronics reserves the right to refuse
warranty service if this information has been removed or changed after the original
purchase of the product from the dealer.
- If LG Electronics repairs or replaces the product, the repaired or replaced
product shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period
or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair, whichever is longer. Repair or
replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned units.
Replaced parts or components will become the property of LG Electronics.
- This warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to normal wear and

product to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship at the time
of its original purchase by a consumer, and for a subsequent period of one (1)

Avoiding hearing damage
Permanent hearing loss may occur if you use your headset at a high volume.
Set the volume to a safe level. Over time you can become accustomed to a
higher volume that may sound normal but can be damaging to your hearing.
If you experience ringing in your ears or mufed speech, stop listening and have
your hearing checked. The louder the volume, the less time is required before
your hearing could be affected.
Hearing experts suggest that to protect your hearing:
• Limit the amount of time you use the headset at high volume.
• Avoid increasing the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
• Decrease the volume if you can’t hear people speaking near you.
Using headsets safely
Use of headsets to listen to music while operating a vehicle is not recommended
and is illegal in some areas. Be careful and attentive while driving. Stop using
this device if you nd it disruptive or distracting while operating any type of
vehicle or performing any other activity that requires your full attention.

1) Emparejamiento fácil
a) Deslice el interruptor hacia la posición ON (Encendido).

2) Emparejamiento manual

a) Mientras el dispositivo está apagado, mantenga presionado el botón LLAMAR y

2 segundos.
b) Cuando el auricular ingresa al modo de emparejamiento, el indicador LED mostrará
una luz azul ja. Repita los pasos c al f del emparejamiento fácil.

Conexión avanzada de varios puntos
El auricular se puede conectar a dos dispositivos móviles al mismo tiempo. Esto le da
la libertad de utilizar la función de llamada en espera entre las llamadas en los dos
teléfonos conectados.
Emparejamiento con dos dispositivos
- Primero, empareje el auricular con el dispositivo Bluetooth que desea utilizar como su
dispositivo secundario (consulte las instrucciones de emparejamiento).
- Una vez emparejado, apague el auricular.
- Mientras el dispositivo está apagado, mantenga presionado el botón LLAMAR y
deslice el interruptor hacia la posición ON (Encendido) al mismo tiempo durante 2

será su dispositivo principal.

NOTA: Cuando el auricular está conectado a dos dispositivos móviles al mismo tiempo
(varios puntos), las funciones de llamada del auricular funcionarán con el dispositivo
móvil principal.

Reconexión automática
- Si ambos dispositivos se encuentran dentro del mismo rango cuando se enciende el
auricular, el auricular y el dispositivo móvil principal se volverán a conectar de forma
automática.
- El dispositivo móvil secundario deberá conectarse manualmente. Seleccione LG
HBS810 desde la lista de dispositivos en el menú Bluetooth y conecte.
NOTA:
Si se realizó una conexión, se generará una alerta vibratoria.
Fuera del radio de alcance
- Si los dispositivos emparejados se separan por un rango de 10 metros (33 pies) o más, el
auricular y el dispositivo móvil emparejado se desconectarán y el auricular vibrará para avisarle.
NOTA: Para desactivar la vibración del dispositivo, deslice el interruptor de VOLUMEN a la

y manténgalo ahí durante 2 segundos.
- Si el auricular y el dispositivo móvil no se vuelven a conectar automáticamente cuando

- Cuando se conectan varios dispositivos, el dispositivo emparejado que no se encuentre en
uso se desconectará cuando esté fuera del rango.
NOTA: En caso de que ocurra un error cuando se conecta el auricular al teléfono principal
mediante el emparejamiento fácil, se iniciará el modo de emparejamiento.
Llamadas
- Las funciones de marcado por voz y de volver a marcar el último número funcionan
con el dispositivo móvil principal (o bien, el dispositivo móvil con el que se realizó la
última llamada).
Llamada en espera
- Mientras está en una llamada, presione el botón LLAMAR durante un segundo para
responder una llamada entrante.

Transferir una llamada
- Puede transferirla de forma manual o desde el auricular si presiona el botón REPRODUCIR/
PAUSA/DETENER dos veces en el auricular (el dispositivo móvil y el auricular deben estar
emparejados).
Marcado por voz
- Presione brevemente el botón LLAMAR para activar el Comando de voz. Si desea obtener
mejores resultados, grabe la etiqueta de marcación por voz mediante el auricular.
NOTA: Si el dispositivo móvil no es compatible con el marcado por voz, esta acción puede activar
el remarcado del último número.
Volver a marcar el último número
- Mantenga presionado el botón de llamada durante 3 segundos a n de activar la función para
volver a llamar al último número marcado. El auricular emitirá un pitido y llamará al último
número marcado.
Finalizar una llamada
- Pulse brevemente el botón LLAMAR.
Llamada en espera
- Atienda una segunda llamada sin cortar la llamada en curso pulsando el botón LLAMAR
durante un segundo. Vuelva a presionar el botón de llamada durante un segundo y volverá a
la primera llamada.
- Presione brevemente el botón de llamada para nalizar ambas llamadas.
Rechazar una llamada
- Para activar la función de rechazo de una llamada, presione el botón de llamada durante dos
segundos mientras esté sonando el dispositivo móvil.
NOTA: Puede que dichas funciones no estén disponibles en todos los dispositivos móviles.

Control de vibración
- Para activar o desactivar la vibración del dispositivo, deslice el interruptor VOLUMEN a la

se active o desactive la función.
- Si la vibración está desactivada, el auricular no vibrará cuando reciba una llamada entrante o
cuando esté fuera de alcance de un dispositivo móvil emparejado.
- La vibración se volverá a activar automáticamente cuando el dispositivo se encienda.
NOTA: Cuando vincule el auricular a un dispositivo móvil, el auricular vibrará cuando la

cambiar entre ecualizadores (Realce de graves (predeterminado), Normal, y Realce de agudos).

2. Atmósferas potencialmente explosivas

Establezca el volumen en un nivel inocuo. Con el tiempo, podría acostumbrase a
un volumen de sonido más alto que podría parecer normal, pero que quizá dañe
su capacidad auditiva.
Si le zumban los oídos o siente que los sonidos le llegan medio apagados,
no use el dispositivo y consulte a un otorrinolaringólogo. Conforme sube el
volumen, se requiere menos tiempo antes de que el sentido del oído pueda
quedar afectado.
Algunos expertos en audición sugieren que, para proteger el sentido del oído,
se debe:
• Limitar el tiempo de uso del auricular a volumen alto.
• Evitar subir el volumen para contrarrestar el exceso de ruido ambiental.
• Baje el volumen si no oye a la gente que habla cerca de usted.
