IMPORTANT NOTE :

Introduction
LG Speaker Phone HFB-300 can be linked to any device with Bluetooth wireless
technology that supports the Hands free & headset profile. This product can be used as a
Hands free in a car, a conference call, and a speaker phone at home or office.

Configuration
Car
Fit the HFB-300 in the Holster case, and fix the sun visor clip into the fixing groove of the
Holster case. Then, place the HFB-300 on the sun visor toward the driver's side.
User can use the HFB-300 as a hands free.
Home or Office
User can use HFB-300 as a conference call, and also as a speaker phone.
Start
After you open the box package, please make sure the HFB-300 be fully charged before
use.
1. Open the Power Connector Outlet cover.
2. Connect the supplied charger to Power Connector Outlet f HFB-300.
●When charger plugged, the LED light of HFB-300 is RED color.
●When being fully charged, the LED light of HFB-300 is changed to GREEN
color.(It may take 3 hours to charge HFB-300 fully.)
Tip
The low battery will be alarmed by a beep sound in every 30 seconds.
Immediate charging will be required right after the low battery alarm.
Power on
Press and hold Call/Power Button for more than 2 seconds, when HFB-300 is turned
off.
●When you hear a consecutively raised sound, the power of HFB-300 is turned on.
Power off
Press and hold Call/Power Button for more than 3 seconds, when HFB-300 is turned
on.
●When you hear a consecutively lowered sound, the power of HFB-300
is turned off.
How to use
Bluetooth Pairing
1. After being turned on HFB-300, press and hold Function button for more than 3
seconds.
●After melody, the blue LED will flicker once a second.
2. With the Bluetooth enabled handset, search for HFB-300 and then register it.
●Please refer to the user manual of the handset.
●When asked for PIN code during the procedure, enter "0000" as the password.
●When the pairing procedure is done, you can hear a beep sound and see flicking blue
LED every 4~5 seconds.
●If the LED flickers once a second, user have to try again for pairing from the beginning.0
Adding Multiple handset
●HFB-300 stores up to 3 different handsets in memory.
●In case of adding a 4th handset, the oldest unused registration will be automatically
removed.
●When you want to change the priority, try to connect manually from the handset.
●If the latest paired handset supports Hands free profile, handset will automatically
connect with HFB-300.
Tip
Once HFB-300 is registered to HFB-300, it will be stayed in
paired status until deleted.
Answering a call
When handset is an incoming call, a melody will come out of HFB-300 and the blue LED
will flicker rapidly 4 times.
Press Call/Power Button while the handset is ringing.
●HFB-300 is available to start conversation.
Last number / Voice dialing
To make last number call, press Call/Power Button shortly (with beep sound once).
●In some cases of Bluetooth enabled handset, user need to press Call/Power Button twice.
To activate Voice dialing, press and hold Call/Power Button little bit longer (with two
beep sounds in a row).
●It's possible to use this function only when the user's handset supports.
Ending a call
To finish calling, press Call/Power Button.
Call Waiting
To receive a second call while answering the first call, press and hold Call/Power
Button for more than 2 seconds.
To get back to the first call, just press and hold Call/Power Button again.
Speaker Volume Control
Press Volume (+) Button to increase the speaker sound, and press Volume (-)
Button to decrease.
●The volume level runs from 1 to 8.
Microphone Volume Control
Press Function with Volume (+) Button simultaneously to increase the Microphone
volume, and press Function
Volume (-) Button longer at the same time to decrease the Microphone volume.
●The volume level runs from 1 to 4.
●Whenever changing Microphone volume level, user can hear serial sound according to
the level of the volume.
(ex. Level 1 : sound once, Level 2 : sound twice, and so on.)
Mute Function for Microphone
To make mute Microphone during an active call, press Function Button shortly.
When Function Button pressed again, Mute function is just cancelled.
Transferring Audio
Handset =>HFB-300
When user want to transfer Audio from handset to HFB-300 while calling, press
Call/Power Button.
●The calling will be transferred to HFB-300 without ending a call.
HFB-300 =>Handset
Transferring Audio from HFB-300 to handset should be operated in handset, and the
way to make it may be different from handset by handset.
●Refer to the manual of user's handset to use this function.
Using Earphone
1. Open the Earphone Jack cover.
●Be careful to use sharp materials or the nail and other parts of user's body to open the
cover.
●It's possible that using above methods may harm the surface of HFB-300 and hurt a part
of user's body.
2. Put in the jack of the supplied earphone to the Earphone Jack of HFB-300.
●You can make conversation with the earphone automatically without any key press.

Guidelines for safe and efficient use
Note : Read this information before using LG HFB-300 Speaker Phone.
Any changes or modification to this product not approved by LG Electronics
may void the user's authority to operate the speaker phone.
Please check for any exception, due to national requirements or limitations,
in usage of Bluetooth equipment before using this product.
Product care
Please note only LG Electronics service partners should remove or
replace the battery.
Do not expose your product to liquid or moisture or to humidity.
Do not expose your product to extreme high or low temperature.
Do not expose your product to lit candles, cigarettes, or cigars, or to open flames
etc.
Do not drop, throw or try to bend the products as rough treatments could
damage it.
Do not use any other accessories than LG Electronics original parts for use with
this product. Use of non-original accessories may result in loss of performance,
damage to the product, fire, electric shock or injury. The warranty does not cover
product failures which have been caused by use of non-original accessories.
Do not attempt to disassemble your product. The product does not contain
consumer serviceable or replaceable components. Only LG Electronics service
partners should perform service.
Do not keep the product in an area prone to dust and dirt. Only use a soft damp
cloth to clean your product.
If you will not be using the product for a while, store it in a place that is dry, free
from damp, dust and extreme temperatures.
Radio frequency exposure
This Bluetooth Speaker Phone, LG HFB-300, is a radio transmitter and
receiver. When in operation, it communicates with a Bluetooth equipped
mobile device by receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF)
electromagnetic fields (microwaves) in the frequency range 2.4
to 2.4835 GHz. The output power of the radio transmitter is low,
0.001 watt. Your Bluetooth Handsfree is designed to operate in compliance
with the RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and
international health agencies when used any compatible LG Electronics
mobile phone.
Driving
Check the laws and regulations on the use of mobile phones and hands
free equipment in the areas where you drive.
Always pay full attention to driving and pull off the road and park before
making or answering a call if driving conditions so require.
RF energy may affect some electronic systems in motor vehicles such as car
stereo, safety equipment etc. Check with your vehicle manufacturer's
representative to be sure that your mobile phone or Bluetooth Hands free
will not affect the electronic systems in your vehicle.
Electronic equipment
Most modern electronic equipment is shielded from RF energy.
However certain electronic equipment is not, therefore:
Do not use your Bluetooth Speaker Phone near medical equipment
without requesting permission. If you are using any personal medical
devices, e.g. a pacemaker or a hearing aid, please read in your mobile
phone's User's Guide for further information.
Aircraft
Turn your Bluetooth Speaker Phone OFF before boarding any aircraft.
To prevent interference with communication systems, you must not use
your Bluetooth Speaker Phone while the plane is in the air.
Blasting areas
Turn off all your electronic devices when in a blasting area or in areas
posted turn off two-way radio to avoid interfering with blasting operations.
Construction crews often use remote control RF devices to set off
explosives.
Potentially explosive atmosphere
Turn off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially explosive
atmosphere. It is rare, but your electronic device could generate sparks.
Sparks in such areas could cause an explosion or fire resulting in bodily
injury or even death.
Areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere are often, but not always,
clearly marked.
Power Supply
Connect the AC power adapter only to designated power sources as
marked on the product.
To reduce risk of damage to the electric cord, remove it from the outlet by
holding onto the AC adapter rather than the cord.
Make sure the cord is positioned so that it will not be stepped on, tripped
over or otherwise subjected to damage or stress. To reduce risk of electric
shock, unplug the unit from any power source before attempting to clean
it. The AC power adapter must not be used outdoors or in damp areas.
Danger : Never alter the AC cord or plug. If the plug will not fit into the
outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. Improper
connection can result in risk of electric shock.
Placing
LG Electronics recommends that the Bluetooth Speaker Phone is worn in
positions where it will not be subject to pressure since such pressure may
result in bodily injury or damage to the product.
Children
Do not allow children to play with your Bluetooth Speaker phone since
it contains small parts that could become detached and create a choking
hazard.
Emergency calls
IMPORTANT!
This Bluetooth Speaker Phone and the electronic device connected to the
speaker phone operate using radio signals, cellular and landline networks as
well as user-programmed functions, which cannot guarantee connection
under all conditions. Therefore you should never rely solely upon any
electronic device for essential communications (e.g. medical emergencies).
Remember, in order to make or receive calls, the Speaker phone and the
electronic device connected to the Speaker phone must be switched on and
in a service area with adequate cellular signal strength. Emergency calls may
not be possible on all cellular phone networks or when certain network
services and/or phone features are in use. Check with your local service
provider
Battery information
A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly.
A new battery or one that has not been used for a long period of time
could have reduced capacity the first few times it is used.
Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above
+55℃ (+131℉ ) or under –15℃ (+5℉ ). For maximum battery capacity,
use the battery in room temperature. If the battery is used in low
temperatures, the battery capacity will be reduced.
The battery can only be charged in temperatures between +10℃ (+50℉ )
and +45℃ (+113℉).
Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth headset
The battery in your Bluetooth Speaker phone must be disposed of properly
and should never be placed in municipal waste. The LG Electronics service
partner removing battery will dispose of it according to local regulations.
Limited Warranty
Subject to the conditions of this Limited Warranty, LG Electronics warrants
this product to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship
at the time of its original purchase by a consumer, and for a subsequent
period of one (1) year. Should your product need warranty service, please
return it to the dealer with the original purchase receipt from whom it was
purchased or contact your local LG Electronics contact center to get further
information.
What we will do
If, during the warranty period, this product fails to operate under
normal use and service, due to defects in materials or workmanship,
the LG Electronics authorized distributors or service partners will,
at their option, either repair or replace the product in accordance with
the conditions stipulated herein.
Conditions
1. The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original
purchaser by the dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial number,
is presented with the product to be repaired or replaced. LG Electronics
reserves the right to refuse warranty service if this information has been
removed or changed after the original purchase of the product from the
dealer.
2. If LG Electronics repairs or replaces the product, the repaired or replaced
product shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty
period or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair, whichever is longer.
Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent
reconditioned units. Replaced parts or components will become the property
of LG Electronics.
3. This Warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to normal wear
and tear, or due to misuse, including but not limited to use in other than the
normal and customary manner, in accordance with instructions for use and
maintenance of the product. Nor does this warranty cover any failure of the
product due to accident, modification or adjustment, acts of God or damage
resulting from liquid.
4. This warranty does not cover product failures due to improper repair
installations, modifications or service performed by a non-LG Electronics
authorized person.
5. Tampering with any of the seals on the product will void the warranty.
6. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL,
OTHER THAN THIS PRINTED LIMITED WARRANTY. ALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL LG ELECTRONICS OR ITS VENDORS BE LIABLE FOR
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE
WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS OR
COMMERCIAL LOSS, TO THE FULL EXTENT THOSE DAMAGES CAN BE
DISCLAIMED BY LAW.
Some countries/states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, or limitation of the duration of implied warranties,
so the preceding limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
The warranty provided does not affect the consumer's statutory rights under
applicable national legislation in force, nor the consumer's rights against the
dealer arising from their sales/purchase contract.
