Before Using
yThere may be compatibility issues when connected to some other products.
LG Electronics does not guarantee compatibility with all peripherals.

Using Product
Install the batteries
- When using the keyboard for the first time, open the battery cover at the top
center of the keyboard by pressing your fingernail against the slit on the battery
cover.
- Remove the protective film between the AAA battery included in the keyboard
and the positive (+) and negative (-) poles. Insert the battery in the correct
direction, then close the cover.
Position a device
- Open out the stand by pressing your fingernail against the slits on the top left
and right of the keyboard, then place your device on the stand.

Power off
- When you turn off the product, be sure to close it in the direction of the arrows.
* Failure to follow the instructions in this manual may result in fault or malfunction
and the product may not turn off properly.
Pair the Keyboard with a Device
This product can be connected and used with up to two Bluetooth devices.
Set up your Bluetooth device by following the instructions below:
Pair the keyboard with Android OS or iOS device
1. Turn on the keyboard by opening it completely.
2*. Press and hold down the “Fn + B (Pair)” keys for at least two seconds.
- When in pairing mode, the LED indicator blinks at one-second intervals for
two minutes.
3. Search for the device on the device you want to pair with, or select Rolly
Keyboard among the searched devices.
- Some devices may require you to enter a PIN. Enter a PIN and press Enter.
4. When pairing is complete, the LED indicator turns blue for three seconds and
then dims.
To pair with the second device, do the following instructions before step 2*.
Press the “Fn + D (Shift)” keys on the keyboard to enter pairing standby mode for
the second device. Check if the LED color changes from blue to purple.
Pair the keyboard with a device running Windows 7 or 8
1. Turn on the keyboard by opening it completely.
2. Press and hold down the “Fn + B (Pair)” keys for at least two seconds.
- When in pairing mode, the LED indicator blinks at one-second intervals for
two minutes.
3. Select Control Panel > Add devices and printers > Add a device.
4. Select “LG-Rolly Keyboard”.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing.
5. When pairing is complete, the LED indicator lights up for three seconds and
then dims.
ySome keys may not be supported by Windows OS.
yOnce paired, the pairing process above does not need to be repeated.
y If you pair a new device when the keyboard has already been paired with two
devices, the last paired device is unpaired.

The LED blinks when the battery level is low. When the battery runs low or is fully

Battery precautions
.Warning :
Batteries can overheat, explode and catch fire.
Follow the instructions below to ensure safe and efficient use of the battery.
yKeep the battery out of reach of pets and children.
yWhen visibly swollen or corroded, the battery may be hazardous.
Please contact the manufacturer or seller.
yKeep the battery away from heat sources. (Never place in a microwave oven.)
yDo not keep the product in a confined space for a long time with the power
on.
yEnsure the battery connectors do not come into contact with metal objects
such as necklaces, coins, keys and watches.
yOnly use batteries approved by the manufacturer.
yNever disassemble, modify, compress or pierce the battery. If the battery has
been severely impacted, discard and replace it immediately.
yDo not drop the battery from a height or subject it to impact or shock.
yStore the battery at room temperature (0ºC to 50ºC) and never expose it to
temperatures of 60ºC or above.
yDo not touch the battery with wet hands or allow it to come into contact with
moisture.
yThere is a risk of explosion if the battery is not replaced correctly. Dispose of
used battery according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
yFor safety purposes, be sure to read the user guide before using the product.
yAlways store the battery in a protective battery case to prevent external shock.

Troubleshooting
The keyboard does not operate following installation or is not recognized.
yMake sure the batteries are not too weak.
yTo determine whether the keyboard or tablet causes the problem test the
keyboard on a second tablet if possible; or test another keyboard on your
current tablet.
If you are still unable to solve the problem, please contact your point of sale or
your dealer.
If you need to exchange the keyboard, please note that you must return it to your
dealer in its original packaging and also a produce proof of purchase (receipt).
Keep your receipt in a safe place after purchase.

Incorrect use of the product on the airplane may result in aviation accidents.
yKeep the product away from direct sunlight when in a confined space such as
a car.
Direct sunlight may cause deformation of the product or fire due to the
increase in temperature.
yDo not store the product in a confined space such as a bag for a long period
of time, or repeatedly, with the power on.
This may result in a fire due to the battery overheating.
How to use keys
- To enter characters (symbols or numbers) marked with the same color as the Fn
key, press the relevant key combo together with the Fn key.

Uso del producto
Instalación de las baterías
- Cuando utiliza el teclado por primera vez, abra la tapa de la batería en la parte
central superior del teclado presionando la uña contra la hendidura de la tapa
de la batería.
- Retire la película protectora entre la pila AAA incluida en el teclado y los polos
positivo (+) y negativo (-). Inserte la batería en la dirección correcta y luego cierre
la tapa.
Posición del dispositivo
- Abra el soporte presionando la uña contra las hendiduras en la parte superior
izquierda y derecha del teclado, y luego coloque el dispositivo en el soporte.

Apagar
- Cuando apague el producto, asegúrese de cerrarlo en la dirección de las flechas.

Emparejar el teclado con un dispositivo
Este producto se puede conectar y utilizar con un máximo de dos dispositivos
Bluetooth. Configure el dispositivo Bluetooth siguiendo las instrucciones a
continuación:
Empareje el teclado con el primer dispositivo del
sistema operativo Android OS u iOS device
1. Encienda el teclado abriéndolo completamente.
2*. Mantenga presionada las teclas “Fn + B (emparejar)” durante al menos dos
segundos.
- Cuando está en modo de emparejamiento, el indicador LED parpadea con
intervalos de un segundo durante dos minutos.
3. Busque el dispositivo en el dispositivo con el que desea vincularlo o seleccione
LG-Rolly Keyboard entre los dispositivos buscados.
- Es posible que algunos dispositivos soliciten que ingrese un PIN. Ingrese un
PIN y presione Intro.
4. Cuando complete el emparejamiento, el indicador LED se iluminará en azul
durante tres segundos y luego se atenuará.
Para vincular con el segundo dispositivo, siga las siguientes instrucciones antes de
realizar el paso 2*.
Presione las teclas “Fn + D (Shift)” en el teclado para ingresar al modo de espera
de emparejamiento para el segundo dispositivo. Compruebe si el color del LED

El LED parpadea cuando el nivel de batería es bajo. Cuando el nivel de la batería

Precauciones para la batería

Solución de problemas
El teclado no funciona después de la instalación o no se reconoce.
yAsegúrese de que las baterías no tengan muy baja la carga.
yPara determinar si el teclado o la tablet causan el problema, si es posible,
pruebe el teclado en una segunda tablet o pruebe otro teclado en su tablet
actual.
Si todavía no puede resolver el problema, póngase en contacto con el punto de
venta o el distribuidor.
Si necesita cambiar el teclado, tenga en cuenta que debe devolverlo a su
distribuidor en su empaque original y también presentar una prueba de compra
(recibo).

Emparejar el teclado con un dispositivo con Windows 7 u 8
