thermal and thermal transfer

designs. The GT800 features a
300-metre ribbon for fewer ribbon
changes along with a standard
moveable sensor. Additional GT800
options include 300 dpi and a full-
width cutter or peel dispenser. The
GK420d offers only direct thermal
printing.
For healthcare-specific
environments, Zebra offers the
GK420 Healthcare printer – available
in both thermal transfer and direct
thermal models. These printers
feature disinfectant-ready plastics
to protect patient safety along with
a medical-grade power supply that
meets IEC 60601-1 standards to
reduce the risk of electrical shock.
