Do not place any objects that are filled with liquids, such as vases on top of the unit. 4.    Keep the unit away from places where the item may be exposed to dripping or splashing.   Important Safety Instructions • Read through the manual before operating. • Heed the instructions. • Follow all instructions in the manual. • Keep the manual for future reference. • Do  not  block  any  ventilation  openings.  Do  not  impede  the  ventilation  openings  with  newspapers, tablecloths or curtains. Leave at least 5cm around the unit for sufficient ventilations. • Install the unit in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. • Clean the cabinet with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use strong solvents, which may cause unpredictable damage to the unit. • Before using the product with the approved power adapter provided, ensure the electric power supply is compatible with the voltage rating of the provided power adapter. • Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles and the pointers where they exist from the unit. • The  electric  plug  is  used  as  the  disconnect  device.  The  disconnect  device  shall  remain  readily accessible. • Remove the power adaptor from the electric outlet if the product is not in use for a long time. • Refer  all  servicing  to  qualified  service  personnel. Servicing  required  when  the  unit does  not  operate normally or has been damaged in any way such as the power adaptor is damaged, liquids spilled into the unit, any hard object fallen on the unit, the unit has been dropped, the unit has been exposed to rain or moisture. • Attentions should be drawn to the environmental aspects of batteries disposal. • Use the unit in moderate climates.
 3  Unit At A Glance  1.    Cigarette power plug: Fit in the car cigarette socket to power on the FM transmitter. 2.    FM  frequency  selector:  4  FM  frequency  selectable:  88.1MHz, 88.7MHz, 106.7MHz and 107.5MHz. 3.    Audio-In  plug:  Insert  into  the  earphone  socket  on  your  audio device. 4.    Audio-In cable   5.    USB charging socket  Transmitting Signals Signals from your audio device will be transmitted through the cigarette adapter to your receiver.  To power the cigarette adapter: Insert the Cigarette power plug to your in-car cigarette socket.  Connecting your audio device: Insert the Audio-In plug into the earphone or Line Out socket on your audio device.  Selecting the channel: There are 4 channels available: FM 88.1MHz, 88.7MHz, 106.7MHz and 107.5MHz. Set the FM frequency selector to the proper channel position required.  Charging your device: Your device can be charging via the USB socket on the Cigarette Adapter. The charging voltage is 5V, 1A. Use the option USB charging cable to connect between the USB charging socket on the Cigarette Adapter and your device.  NOTE:   • The operation distance between the signal transmitter (Cigarette Adapter) and the receiver is 5m. Move closer to the signal transmitter when you feel the sound not clear. • If you hear no sound check if the volume on the receiver is turned down, or set the receiver to search the correct channel.  4  Troubleshooting Problem  Possible Cause  Solution No batteries or batteries have spent.  Fit new batteries into the headphones. The headphones may be set off.  Turn the headphones on with the Power switch. Volume control may be turned down (to minimum). Adjust the volume control. Headphones are not working and/or no sound. You may be out of the operating range of the transmitter. Move closer to the transmitter to keep the distance within ??. The connection of the transmitter and the audio device may be loose. Check the connection of the transmitter and the audio device. No reception. The channel using on the transmitter and the receiver is not matching. Press the Scan button on the headphones to search the correct channel. Some interfered appliance is being used nearby. Turn off the interfered appliance. Sound is not very clear. Poor reception.  Change to another channel.
 5  Warning   Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.      NOTE:  This  equipment  has  been  tested  and  found  to  comply  with  the  limits  for  a  Class  B  digital  device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.    These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful  interference  in  a  residential  installation.    This  equipment  generates  uses  and  can  radiate  radio frequency  energy  and,  if  not  installed  and  used  in  accordance  with  the  instructions,  may  cause  harmful interference to radio communications.     However,  there  is  no  guarantee  that  interference  will  not  occur  in  a  particular  installation.    If  this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.   Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.   Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.   Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. This  device  complies  with  Industry  Canada  licence-exempt  RSS  standard(s).  Operation  is  subject  to  the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause  interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.           Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be  so  chosen  that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication.
