Environments Where the Machine Can be Used Place this machine on a level and sturdy surface where it will not be subyected to significant vibration and movement. This machine should be placed near a standard grounded power outlet. Set up and use this machine in a location where ambient temperature is within 10 c . 32 c and humidity is Within 15% - 50% With no condensation. Fire or electric shock could result from spillage or if such obiecis or substances fall inside the printer. Do not place the machine where its vents and grilles may be covered or obstructed. The vents and grilles are for ventilation purposes. Obstructing these openings could result in internal overheating or fire. When choosing a location for the printer. be sure to consider the space required for the paper feed tray and power cord plug. Make sure the room in which you are using this machine is regularly ventilated and spacious Operating the machine in a poorly ventilated room for an extended period of time. or printing in large quantities. could compromise the air quality in the room and have negative impacts on your health. This will allow easy disconnection of the power cord in the event of an emergency. If the printer emits smoke or odors. or if it behaves unusually. disconnect the power cord plug from the wall outlet immediately. Then contact your service representative and report the problem. Do not use the printer. Doing so could result in fire or electric shock. If metal objects. or water or other fluids fall inside the printer. disconnect the power cord plug from the wall outlet immediately. Then contact your service representative and report the problem. Before moving the printer. unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. and disconnect the power cord from the printer. While moving the printer. take care not to damage the power cord. Doing so could result in fire or electric shock. Do not forcibly remove paper from the printer while printing is in progress. OtherWise. it could damage the printer. Exercise caution when changing paper or removing tammed paper. Fresh papers may have sharp edges and could cause cuts. Handling internal components A Warning Do not remove any covers or screws. Inside the printer are high voltage components that could cause electric shocks and laser components that could cause blindness. Contact your sales or service representative if any of the printer's internal components require maintenance. adiustment. or repair. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the printer yourself. Doing so risks burns and electric shock. Important Note Exposure to the laser components inside this printer risks blindness.
