ExpressCardauthorizedtousefortheyourLenovocomputerisfarbelowthe

FCCradiofrequencyexposurelimits.Nevertheless,itshallbeusedinsucha

mannerthatthepotentialforhumancontactduringnormaloperationisminimized

asfollows:

CAUTION:

TocomplywithFCCRFexposurecompliancerequirements,aseparation

distanceofatleast20cm(8inches)mustbemaintainedbetweenthe

antennasconnectedtothewirelessmoduleandallpersons.Ifthedistance

maynotbemaintainedwhilethecomputerdisplayisclosed,youmustset

sleepasthepowermodewhenclosingthedisplay.

ii)FCCIDofwirelessmodule

OnthebottomsideofyourLenovocomputer,youwillfindanindicatorlabelofthe

format“ContainsT ransmitterModule:FCCIDXXXX” ,whereXXXXrepresentsthe

FCCIDthatcorrespondstoyourpreinstalledWirelessLAN+BluetoothCombo

module.

iii)RadioFrequencyinterferencerequirements

EachdevicehasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassB

digitaldevicepursuanttoFCCPart15SubpartB.Referto“Electronicemission

notices”onpage5.

WhenyouuseaWirelessLAN+BluetoothCombomoduleinthe802.11a/n

transmissionmode:

•Highpowerradarsareallocatedasprimaryusersofthe5250to5350MHzand

5650to5850MHzbands.Theseradarstationscancauseinterferencewith

and/ordamagethisdevice.

II.SimultaneoususeofRFtransmitters

Makesureofthefollowingconditionsonuseofwirelessfeatures:

1.WhenyouuseanyotherRFoptiondevice,allwirelessfeaturesinyourLenovo

computerarerequiredtobeturnedoff.

2.UsersmustfollowtheRFSafetyinstructionsonwirelessoptiondevicesthat

areincludedintheRFoptiondevice'suser'smanual.

Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:

2.Thisdevicemustacceptanyinterference,includinginterferencethatmay

•Highpowerradarsareallocatedasprimaryusers(meaningtheyhavepriority)

interferenceand/ordamagetoLE-LAN(Licence-ExemptLocalAreaNetwork)

devices.

•Themaximumantennagainpermittedfordevicesinthe5250-5350MHz,

5470-5725MHz,and5725-5825MHzbandscomplieswiththee.i.r.p.limit.
