Operation is subject to lhe following two conditions: (1) this devroe may not cause harmful inierlerenee, and (2) this device must accept any interlerence received, including interference that may cause undesired operation INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Toots needed to instaii RF Temperature Sender Model 22250: R'rv adhesive/sealant, non-corrosive, room temperature. curing silicone rubber (suggested quantity . 2 oz). a clean cloth, ACAUTION: USE CAUTION WHEN WORKING WITH INDUSTRIAL BATTERIES; THEY CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS. INDUSTRIAL BATTERIES CONTAIN ACID (ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION) WHICH CAN CAUSE CHEMICAL BURNS AND SERIOUS HARM TO SKIN AND EYES. ALWAYS WEAR APPROVED PROTECTIVE EYE GOGGLES AND RUBBER GLOVES. AWARNING: AVOID PROLONGED BREATHING OF BATTERY VAPORS; WORK IN A WELL-VENTILATED AREA. BATTERY VAPORS CAN BE FLAMMABLE. Operating Instructions ACAUTION: DO NOT REST TOOLS ON TOP OF BATTERY OR ALLOW ANY METAL OBJECTS TO COME IN CONTACT WITH BATTERY POSTS OR INTER-CELL CONNECTORS, ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE 1, Examine the top of the battery case, looking for an area 3" X 4", which is relatively smooth and flat. Do not mount Temperature Sender on unstable surfaces such as access panels or on the outside or e baltery tray housing. Do not mount the Temperature Sender where it may be struck or could intertere with the operation of other moving objects. 2. Using the clean cloth. wipe and remove any foreign materials from the 3" x 4“ area. 3 Apply RTV tu both Temperature Sender base and cleaned area on battery surface. With hand pressure only. carefully press downward on the Temperature Sender until ll [5 firmly resting on the battery. 4. While holding the unit in place, carefully remove the excess RTV adhesive by Wiping it away.
