The BLE E system wa as designed d aimed to lower the po ower consu umption and d to extend the battery y life of the e Bluetooth system. Those e module th hat supportt both BR/E EDR and BL LE are called d the "Dual Mode Blue etooth", whereas th hose that only supporrt BLE is called the "Single Mode Bluetooth"" . The L-series Bluetooth module are e the Single e Mode mod dules. For dual mode Bluetooth device, the BLE B system ooth system m to share the transce eiver functio ons. And for the single integrates with the classic Blueto mode Blue etooth devic ce, they can n only comm municate with BLE 4.0 communica ation, but not n with the classic Blu uetooth such as 2.0, 2.1, 3.0.
