Using Semtech’s patented LoRaTM modulation technique can greatlyincrease the communication distance, which is widely applied to various occasions of shortdistance IoT wireless communication field. It has small size, low power consumption, longtransmission distance, strong immunity from interference and other characteristics. Power SupplyIt is recommended to use DC regulated power supply to the module, and the small powersupply ripple coefficient is required. The module should be reliable grounding, and pleasepay attention to the correct connection power, if reverse, maybe result in permanent damageto the module.2. About AntennaEnsure that there is no component, mounting screw or ground plane near the antenna.All these incorrect design can reduce the communication distance of module seriously.3. Protection of ESD electrostaticModules can be static tested by connecting discharge 4 kv, air discharge 8 kv;The arc distance module about 10 cm when air discharge;Therefore, it shall takes all necessary ESD measures in order to avoid permanent damage tothe device.4. Trade-offs advice on DIOxDIO has three functions, The first is the RF interrupt flag reflects, the other is thePLL_Lock signal output, a third is Clock signal output of the RF module (generally do not usethis function).
