Installation Instructions
1) Turn all power off to the lamp or fixture
2) Remove shade, bulb and harp.
3) Remove bulb and adapter from package
4) Screw fluorescent bulb and adapter into
lamp socket. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
Gently adjust (loosen) adapter it harp
interference is encountered.
5) Replace harp and shade
Re lacemsnt for fluorescent bulb nnl
1) Turn all power off to the lamp or fixture,
2) Remove shade and harp
3) Unscrew and remove fluorescent bulb and
adapter from lamp or fixture
4) Replace with new LightWave fluorescent
bulb and adapter.
5) Screw fluorescent bulb and adapter into
lamp socket
6) Replace harp and shade,
Can be used With open or enclosed ceiling
fixtures. long chain (swag) lamps and portable
table lamps Minimum starting temperature 0°F.
Best performance it operated at 77°F ambient
temperature.
CAUTION. Use indoors and do not use in wet
location or room (bathroom, shower room. etc).
This devrce not intended for use With emergency
exit fixtures or emergency exrt lights, To prevent
risk offire or product damage, do not use this
adapter on dimming circuits, electronic timers or
photo cells. Added weight of fitting may cause
instability 0! free standing portable lamps. Use
only in portable lamps in which the distance from
the bottom of the base to the top off the lamp
holder does not exceed three (3) times the base
width. Use only with portable lamps which are
provrded wrth lamp shades,
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and
found to comply with the limits for a RF lighting
devrce pursuant to part 18 of the FCC rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference in a
resrdential installation. This equipment
generates uses and can radiate radio frequency
energy and, it not installed and used in
accordance with instructions, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. However.
there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular instantiation. Ifthis
equipment does cause harmful interference to
radio or television reception. which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on.
the user is encouraged to try and correct the
interference by one or more of the following
measures:
1) reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
2) increase the separation between the
equipment and the receiver
3) connect the equipment into an outlet on a
circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected
4) Consult the dealer oran experienced radio /
TV technician for help.
