design is a sensible
choice for small to
medium spaces.
Lightolier Lighting Systems are modular lighting systems that offer a wide selection of
geometric shapes, architectural profiles, scales and finishes.
Lytetube CD5 can be used a task light, an accent light, for general
lighting or wall washing. Occasionally, there is a need to erect a
pattern of luminaires that won’t overpower the entire room. The
Lytetube CD5 does this with ease. The designer can use all the
accessories to build a custom fitted pattern making Lytetube CD5
a solution to any situation demanding a completely modular
luminaire system.
Lytetube CD5 provides the customer with a wide array of light
distributions to choose from. The ability to rotate the luminaire
through 350 degrees makes it possible to place light nearly any-
where. With its array of features and accessories, Lytetube CD5
provides dependable, flexible lighting. Accessories include many
joining devices including flexible corners, pendant, cable and wall
mounting and shielding options from a prismatic lens to black
louver. The Lytetube CD5 also has provisions for a recessed
Lytespan®track.
Lighting Systems
■
1 Housing: Extruded aluminum. Die-cast end cap mechani-
cally attached with no exposed fasteners. Concealed
access holes in end plate for through wiring.
■
2 Lamping: One, two or three T8 fluorescent lamps, as speci-
fied. Provided by others.
■
3 Reflector: Die-formed semi-specular aluminum.
Rotating Ring (not shown):1 1/8" diameter die-cast zinc alloy
to allow 358 degree housing rotation. Finished in polished
chrome.
Lens: Optional extruded 100% acrylic clear linear
prismatic lens.
Louver: Optional straight blade black louver.
Electrical
Specify 120 volt or 277 volt. 3 conductor, 12 gauge
wire. Color-coded quick connectors allow ease of
connection for joiner modules. For special circuit-
ing, consult factory. Rapid start, HPF, class “P”
thermally protected. PowerSpec HDF dimming
ballast is available.
Mountings
Cable Suspension (not shown) – 4 1/2" diameter
flat canopy finished enamel white, 1/16" diameter
stainless steel aircraft cable adjustable up to 36",
adjustable cable gripper.
Stem Mounting (not shown) – 4 1/2" diameter flat
canopy finished satin chrome, 1/2" diameter satin
chrome stem. Can be cut to length on job. Self-
aligning swivel provides adjustability up to 38
degrees. The stem assembly shall meet or exceed
the requirements set forth in the State of California
Uniform Building Code for suspended lighting fix-
tures installed in seismic zone four.
Finish
Powder coated baked white enamel. Custom colors
available, consult factory.

Lens, louver, L, T, X and Inline joiner blocks, retro-fit stem
set, retro-fit cable set available.
