Powerline AV 4-Port
Network Adapter
Model: PLS300
Easily network your home using existing
electrical outlets
The Powerline AV 4-port Network Adapter lets you easily create a network using the
existing electrical outlets in your home. Now you don’t have to drill holes in walls and
climb through the attic or cellar to install network cables -- just use the wires that already
run through the building.
The Powerline AV 4-port Network Adapter connects computers, or any other wired
Ethernet device, using the HomePlug® AV network standard. Adding devices to the
network is as simple as plugging the Powerline AV 4-port Adapter into an electrical outlet,
and connecting up to four Ethernet-equipped devices to the built-in Ethernet ports.
Additional devices can be connected to the same network using additional Powerline AV
Adapters plugged into an electrical outlet anywhere in the house.
Once your computers are connected to the network, they can share resources like printers
and storage space, and all kinds of files -- video, music, digital pictures, and documents.
With up to 200Mbps data rates*, you can play virtually lag-free head-to-head network
computer games, and run applications like streaming standard or HD video, and Voice
over IP telephony. Plug your Internet connected router into a Powerline AV 4-port
Network Adapter and you’ll be able to get to the Internet from any Powerline AV attached
computer in the house.
The Linksys Powerline AV 4-port Network Adapter is the perfect solution for easy, no new
wires, home or office networking.

* The HomePlug AV network data rate is up to 200Mbps. Actual throughput of the PLE300 is limited to 100Mbps by the Ethernet 10/100 specication, and
will vary depending on network trac and environmental conditions such as building wiring type and routing.
Maximum performance for the Powerline AV Network Adapter is derived from the HomePlug Powerline Alliance HomePlug AV specication. Actual
performance can vary, including lower powerline network capacity and data throughput rate. Performance depends on many factors, conditions and
variables, including volume of network trac, home wiring construction, operating system used, mix of networking products used, interference from
other electrical devices, age of home wiring, wireline range and coverage as determined by wiring route or path between devices and other adverse
conditions.
Check the product package and contents for specic features supported. Specications are subject to change without notice.
