Operating range is approximately 260 - 320 h. (80 - 100 meters). This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: ( 1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. 1. Do not attempt to repair or modify this equipment. 2. Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user authority to operate the equipment. 3. DO not allow the product to be used in damp conditions or immersed in wateri 4. Do not place the walkie talkie next to heat sources such as radiators or sunny windows, etc. 5. When the walkie talkie is not used for a long period of time, remove all batteries from the unit. Otherwise the batteries may leak and cause damage to the walkie talkie. BATTERY INSTALLATIONit I .0pen battery door (H) by inserting a coin in the slot at the bottom end of the cover and pulling top of coin towards you. 2.1nsert one 9V(6LR61 / MN 1 604) battery in each unit (Alkaline battery is highly recommended). 3.Close the battery door, BASIC OPERATION - TRANSMIT + RECEIVE 1 Alter battery installation, tum on the unit by rotating the OFF/ON/VOLUME knob (F) clockwise. When you see the LED power indicator (E) glow and hear noise from the earpiece (C), the unit is ‘ON‘. 2. Push the Press-To-Talk button (B) to talk and release to listen. Talk directly irtto to the mouth piece (D) with the unit 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7 cm) from your mouth. 3, Adjust the volume by rotating the OFF/ON/VOLUME knob (F). 4.The field strength is 63.6dBuV/m at 3 meters. *TIPS To talk to each other, one of you should press the "PressTryTalk" button (B) and speak into the microphone (D), and say “OVER" when finished. Then release the "Press-1b- Talk“ button (B). Your friend can then press their "Press-’Ib-Talk" button (B) and speak to you!
