Ilco® Mortise Locks with Deadbolt, Hookbolt and Deadlatch feature a steel case with corrosion resistant plating. Each style ac-

cepts a standard 1 5/32” (29.4mm) diameter mortise cylinder and can be purchased with one, two or without faceplate.

For narrow jambs and sliding glass doors, the shorter, hook style bolt is used to secure the door.

The Matrix II is a new and improved re-design of the

Matrix S machine that has been offered by Ilco since

1994. Just as with the previous generation, the Matrix II

combines rugged construction, precision and features

that have made it the professional’s choice in laser

style key duplication.

The Matrix II will offer the following new improvements

in a premium duplicator for laser keys.

• Electromechanical calibration with alarm to indicate

when properly calibrated

Kaba Ilco Corp. is pleased to introduce

the second generation Ilco EZ®-Code. The

Ilco EZ®-Code II looks the same as the ﬁrst

generation. The difference is in the many

hardware and ﬁrmware changes made to

accommodate the OEM Keys from Asia.

The more noticeable improvements found

in the Ilco EZ®-Code II are the elimination

of backlash and minimization of stepper

motor slippage to ensure synchronized

movements of components when cutting

keys made of harder materials. These changes also yield a more accurate mea-

surement when calibrating the machine and when using the duplication feature.

In addition to hardware and ﬁrmware updates, the entire database has been revised

to ensure accuracy of the bitting information. Rather than relying on an electrical

contact to determine the reference point to begin cutting a key, the Ilco EZ®-Code

II uses a hard ﬁxed datum for reference, resulting in more accurately cut keys.

New Duplication Feature – the Ilco EZ®-Code II will have the capability to duplicate

a key back to factory speciﬁcations or duplicate as measured. Once the pattern

key is measured it allows the user to select the option of (1) USE CARD DEPTHS

which would cut the key to OEM speciﬁcations or (2) USE MEASURED DEPTHS

which would duplicate the key based on the actual measurements of the pattern key.
