ESD
(EN) Warning: This module is ESD sensitive. Electrostatic discharges can permanently damage the
module. Handle with proper grounding equipment and techniques.

RF Emission
(EN) Warning: This module contains radio-frequency transceivers and antennas which emits and receive
in the 13.56 MHz frequency band. This module can interfere with and its functionality can be impacted
by other nearby equipment operating in the same frequency band.
(FR) Attention: Ce module contient des émetteurs-récepteurs et antennes qui émettent et reçoivent
dans la plage fréquentielle de 13.56 MHz. Ce module peut interférer et ses fonctionnalités peuvent être
altérées par de l’équipement avoisinant opérant dans la même plage fréquentielle.
RF Exposure
(EN) Warning: Exposure to Radio Frequency Energy: The radiated power output of the RFID module is
below the RF exposure limits for uncontrolled exposure. This device should be operated with a minimum
distance of at least 20 cm between the RFID antenna and a person’s body.

inferieures aux limites d'intensité de champ RF prévues pour l’environnement non contrôlé. Les

FCC 2-parts warning statement under 15.19
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
Modification statement 15.21
The user manual or instruction manual for an intentional or unintentional radiator shall caution the user
that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could
void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
IC warning statement
(EN) Warning: This device complies with Industry Canada’s licence-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause interference; and
(2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause
undesired operation of the device.

radio exempts de licence. L'exploitation est autorisée aux deux conditions suivantes :
(1) l'appareil ne doit pas produire de brouillage, et

le brouillage est susceptible d'en compromettre le fonctionnement.
Labelling Requirements for the Host Device
The host device shall have a label with following content:

Installation
The LD2-EA0002 PCB module is to be installed in a Logi-D 2BIN-iD Gen-II product. To function properly, it
must be connected to a compliant host computer, like the LD2-EA0001.
To install the LD2-EA0002, place the module in the 2Bin Gen-II enclosure, with the LEDs facing the wall
of the enclosure. The components side should face the open side of the enclosure.
Secure the module in place with five (5) screws.
Connect the ribbon cable from the host controller in the IDC connector.
Addressing
Install the jumpers on the P2 header to assign an address to the module.
Terminations
If the module is the last on the ribbon cable, insert the termination jumper on positions 7 and 8.
