General Information
Table Management Systems are on-premise systems used to increase efficiency by alerting staff of the seat-
ing availability within the establishment. The LRS T13C updater and R1201 receiver integrate with these Table
Management Systems to enable restaurant staff to wirelessly update the status of tables with a compact
wireless device.
· The current status of each table is always available to the hostess station.
· Status can be changed from the floor or the hostess station.
· The R1201F receiver is updated directly through a radio transmitter located in the T13C hand held
keypad.

Transmitter Installation
CAUTION: Do not mount the T13C transmitter or R1201F receiver antennas near any large metal objects.
NOTE: The T13C transmitter should be charging whenever not in use.
1. Unwrap all T13C transmitter and R1201F receiver components.
2. The T13C transmitter is portable and battery powered. It is charged in the same power charger
used for LRS paddle and star pagers.
3. Connect the antenna (about 3” long) onto the connector on the back of the receiver. It is best to
mount the antenna pointing straight up, perpendicular to the ground.
4. Mount the receiver convenient to a 110/220V power and near the host computer.
5. Plug the power supply into standard 110V/220V outlet and the barrel connector end into the side
hole on the R1201F receiver.
6. Connect the RS-232 cable from the R1201F receiver to the host computer.
7. Upon completion, perform the initialization on the host computer system (per manufacturer’s
specifications).

T13C Keypad Functions
Before you begin using the T13C handheld transmitter, read the following keypad descriptions.
Functions Keys
Clears the table from the Host Receiver list.
To designate a table as seated, enter the table number and press SEAT
Lists the table as ready on the Host Receiver.
To mark a table as Open and ready to be Seated, enter the table num-
ber and press OPEN
Sends the hold command to the Host Receiver.
To mark a table as Closed, enter the table number and press CLOSE
Transfers a party from one table to another
To move a party from one table to another, enter the table number
you wish to transfer from, press TRNSFR, enter the number of the
table you wish to transfer the party to, press ENTER
(Table# - Transfer - Table # - Enter).
Sends the Bus command to the Host receiver.
When a table is being bussed, enter the table number and press BUS
Clears the input to restart a new command
Checks functions of the T13C handheld: Version Check, Battery Level,
Handheld Reset, and Range Test,
Completes the Transfer function.
Number Keys
The number keys (1 – 0) are used to enter table numbers.
Test and Reset Functions
Version Check
Press 5 then the TEST key to check the version.
Battery Check
Press the TEST key to check the battery. The display shows a number to indicate the battery charge (5 is fully
charged and 1 is very weak).
Reset
If the battery has been allowed to totally discharge, it may be necessary to reset the T13C for it to function
properly. To reset the T13C:
1. Put the T13C on charge.
2. After the T13C is charged, enter 0-7-6 on the keypad.
3. Press the Test button.
Range Test
The operating range of the unit can be checked by sending continuous open and close commands to the re-
ceiver while moving around the test area. To start the test, press 1-2-3 TEST. To end the test press CLR (Clear).

My system is malfunctioning - What do I do?
Should your seating system ever fail to function properly:

Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time.
• After hours, please leave a message on the technical support line. LRS technicians are on call and
will return your call as soon as possible.
• Please keep in mind that options are limited over the weekend.
What about repairing my system after the warranty expires?
Call the LRS Customer Support Department before sending any item in for repair.

Warranty
Long Range Systems, LLC permits a one-year manufacturer’s warranty
following the original consumer purchase date of any LRS system. Any
individual components or products purchased will receive a 30-day
manufacture warranty. This warranty covers any defects due to faulty
material or workmanship, but does not include damage to the product
resulting from accident, misuse or improper electrical connection. If the
product or system should become defective within the warranty pe-
riod, we will repair or replace with equivalent equipment, free of
charge. We will pay transportation charges to return your product via
standard FedEx Ground shipping, provided the product is shipped pre-
paid to:

No return or replacement can be received without prior authorization
from the LRS Customer Support department or without the proper
RMA# posted on the outside of the shipping container. Contact Cus-
tomer Support at 800.437.4996 or www.pager.net. This warranty gives
you specific legal rights and you may also have rights that vary by state.
