Information to user :

Please check to see if entire contents are included in package. If not, please contact customer service nearby or store.

2. Install receiver station on laptop
(1) 
Deco fixture – magnetic
Place deco fixture underneath the receiver and check attaching position Deco fixture
※ Station has a magnet.
Keep away from magnetic sensitive objects such as credit card
(2) < Placed the station in the middle >
• Install in the middle section of laptop screen
• Make sure station position with screen without tilting.
• When right and left section of screen is not activated, place station a little higher than present position.
• If there is a knob in the middle, place station on either right or left side.
(3) < Install on laptop screen >
• Take off the masking tape on the back side of deco fixture. Attach deco fixture on top, right or left side of laptop cover.
※ please confirm station position setting in option menu of driver software (MINT Control).
(4) < Connect USB >
• Plug USB connector to USB port of PC.
• When PC is on after installation, blue light will show on station and PC will automatically recognize device.
(5) < Store separated from computer >
Keep separate from PC when not being used. When being used, you can attach station to deco fixture. You can keep station
attached for a while after use.
If S/W is not installed, proper operation may not occur even device is successfully installed.
Please refer to “Software Installation” section of installation guide and install driver software.
< How to confirm whether pen is active >
• Upon inserting batteries, press pen tip or pen button in order to activate.
• The pen is properly activated, small beep sound created from ultrasonic wave will occur in very close distance to ear.
(Some may be insensitive to the sound since beep is significantly small)
• When the pen does not operate properly, or pen cursor jitters terribly.
Please check whether dirt or stain is on pen battery or not. If it is so, remove it completely and operate again.
Insert new battery in case of discharge or inferiority
(Discharged or inferior battery might be contained white power or deformed bulgy).
< Auto Power-off (Sleep) mode >
• When pen does not click within 30 seconds after last click, pen will be automatically initiated economical power-off mode.
< Pen tip and Pen button functions >
• Pen tip operates same as left button of mouse.
• Lower pen button operates same as left button of mouse/upper pen button operates same as right button of mouse.
• Change the Mint Control to Table Mode if you are using the product on a flat surface.
(It can be used on normal flat surface. You can change the tip to ball pen to write on the paper.)

Software Installation Guide
1. Install driver software (MINT Control)
(1) Insert installation CD into CD-ROM.
(2) Installation menu (picture below) will be appeared automatically.
Start software installation by selecting “Install” MINT Control.

※ when installation menu is not appeared automatically,
 Execute POPStarter.exe manually in CD-ROM.
 On Windows Vista / Windows 7, execution warming pop-up may appear. But ignore it.
 If MINT Control is installed already or other version is installed, delete entirely and reinstall.

To delete,
 click “Start > Programs > PNF > MINT >uninstall MINT”. or click ‘Start > Programs >
PNF > PenOnPC > uninstall PenOnPC”
(3) MINT Control installation pop-up window will be appeared. [Next]→ [Install]
(4) MINT Control is installed successfully. Please finish installation by selecting [finish] button
If MINT Control is installed successfully, “MINT Control”, “MINT Interactive”, “MINT Note” icons are
appeared on the desktop as shown below.
(5) Attach PEN receiver station on laptop cover and connect USB knob to USB port on the computer
(6) Check if MINT Control is recognized hardware. If the monitor-shaped MINT Control icon is
activated, it turns to blue from gray on lower right corner of system tray.
※ When PEN is not recognized,
 Please try on different USB port.
 If you are using USB HUB, try to connect to your USB port on PC directly.
 Quit MINT Control program and restart.
 On some laptops using unconventional LCD, operations may not be successful. Please try
testing on the desk other than the LCD.
(7) PEN calibration
Clicking monitor-shaped MINT Control icon on lower right corner of system tray, and then,
Menu will be appeared.
When calibrating, you should keep the pen grip position as usual.
[Calibration]



This is a process to execute pen calibration on right, left, upper and lower sections of screen.
Click point appeared on screen with pen tip.
After mouse cursor and point align, next calibration step will automatically start.

Pen Touch: adjusting pen flexibility
Brush Factor: adjusting thickness at start and stop point.
Pen Speed: adjusting pen response time
Station Install Position : defining the station's fixed location
Shape of Mouse Cursor
Cursor position - Can set cursor position.
- Upper left: Positioned a little above than

pen tip where cursor can be seen.
- Regular position: Cursor is positioned almost at the same position with pen tip.
(9) Screen Mode/ Table Mode/ Note Mode

Screen Mode: This mode is used while using the pen directly on LCD screen.

Table Mode: This mode is used while putting station on the flat surface such as floor or desk.

Note Mode: This mode is used while using MINT Note.
(10) Update
Click on update within option periodically. It will automatically update MINT Control.
Information pop-up appears which indicates that it is the latest version.
