INTRODUCTION
STEP 1 : CHARGING THE BATTERY
It's a 4 x 4! It's a powerboat! It's a tank! All in one! With just a touch of a button, this
incredible R/C vehicle transforms to traverse land or water in just seconds! With the
full-functioning radio control handset, control all the action from a distance away!

OPERATION TIPS AND HELPFUL HINTS
- Do not operate during thunderstorms.
- Operate only in fresh water and bodies of water with little to no current.
- When your vehicle starts to lose power, it may experience loss of functions of performance ability. If
this happens, simply recharge your Battery Pack again and/or replace the Handset battery.
- Your Land-Sea R/C is operated by radio waves. It is possible the unit may not perform properly due to
interference from nearby devices such as a cordless phone, hair dryer, radio, walkie-talkie or other
radio-controlled toys.
- Avoid sand and snow when operating your vehicle.
- Always select a safe place to play. Never drive your vehicle on populated
streets or water areas.
- Keep fingers. hair and loose clothing away from the tires, wheel hubs and
motors while the vehicle is switched on.
- Land-Sea R/C may take in water. After playing with Land-Sea R/C in water,
locate the drainage valves at the rear of the vehicle and remove the two
rubber seals. Drain any water from the vehicle and replace the rubber seals.

- Clean your Land-Sea R/C with a dry, clean cloth after playing.
- If the vehicle goes out of range of the Handset or the battery is low, the propellers will turn on.
This is a part of Land-Sea R/C's normal operation. This function is especially useful in water.
If the vehicle is in water and goes out of range, the vehicle will move in a circular pattern in
an attempt to return back to the Handset range so that the user can once again gain control.
- If you turn off the Handset before turning off the vehicle, Land-Sea R/C's propellers will turn on.
This is a part of Land-Sea R/C's normal operation and will remind you to turn off the vehicle.
- Do not get your rechargeable battery wet. If you do, dry immediately.
- Your R/C Handset will automatically shut off after several minutes of non-activity. Simply press the
MODE button (and activate Land or Sea Mode) to begin again.

Important:
- After use, the Battery Pack may be hot. Allow it cool for at least 20 minutes before recharging.
- If the Battery Pack shows signs of leakage or erosion, do not recharge; replace it immediately.
- Do not disassemble the battery pack.
- If Battery Pack or charging unit becomes wet, dry thoroughly before recharging.
- Do not use any other rechargeable battery except for the standard 6.0V NiCd Battery Pack that was intended solely for
use with the product.
- The Battery Charger used with the toy is to be regularly examined for damage to the plug, enclosure
and other parts. In the event of such damage, the toy must not be used with this battery
charger until the damage has been repaired.

If your Land-Sea R/C responds slowly or fails to operate:
-  Make sure the batteries in both the Handset and Land-Sea R/C are installed properly.
-  Recharge your Battery Pack and/or replace the Handset battery.
-  Make sure Vehicle is turned on and Handset is switched to Land or Sea Mode.
-  Make sure the Battery Contacts have not become dirty. If they have, simply brush with a dry cloth
NiCd STANDARD BATTERY PACK & CHARGER(6.0V & 600mA and up) NEEDED!
SEPARATE PURCHASE REQUIRED!
Before you can experience all the fun and excitement of using your Land-Sea R/C, you must charge
your Battery Pack. (sold separately, available wherever R/C vehicles are sold) Follow the instructions
included with your 6V NiCd Battery Pack and charger for charging your battery.
Note: Battery life varies depending on usage. An average charge should last
approximately 20 minutes.
1. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
2. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
3. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
4. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
5. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
6. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
7. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
8. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
9. Do not dispose the batteries in fire; batteries may leak or explode.
10. Batteries should be replaced by adult.
