(see Fig. 1)The Alien RacersTM R/C requires a 9.6-volt rechargeable nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack and battery charger. The transmitter requires one 9-volt battery.Powering Your Vehicle :1. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.2  Place the battery pack in the compartment. Attach the              battery pack’s white plastic connector to the vehicle’s     matching connector. Do not force them together. They only     fit one way.3. Replace the battery compartment cover.4. When the vehicle moves slowly or does not move at all,   recharge the vehicle’s battery pack.Powering Your Remote :1. Remove the battery compartment cover.2. Place the 9V battery in the remote as indicated by the      polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.3. Replace the cover.4. In addition, do not submerge your Racer or Remote controller in water.When your vehicle starts to lose power, it may experience loss of performance ability. If this      happens, simply recharge your battery again.Your racer is operated by radio waves. It is possible the unit may not perform properly due to     interference from nearby devices such as a cordless phone, hair dryer, radio, walkie-talkie or       other radio-controlled toys.Avoid sand and snow when operating your vehicle.Always select a safe place to play. Then install the  hood onto the car body again.1.Slide the ON/OFF switches on the racer and remote to ON.2.Use the remote's control levers to drive and steer the Alien Racers R/CCAUTION :  If your Alien RacersT M R/C gets stuck under an object, immediately release the remote's control levers and retrieve the racer.3.When you finish playing with the Alien RacersTM R/C, slide the    ON/OFF switches on the racer and the remote to OFF.CAUTION : Running your racer continuously for long periods generates high heat levels. Heat causes wear and tear on the motor. To help keep heat levels down, when your racer's battery pack dies, let the racer cool for at least 10 minutes before installing a new or newly charged battery pack.4.Press Button #1 to open Alien Racer’s hood.5.Press Button #2 to close Alien Racer’s hood.6.Press Button #3 or #4 to activate the sound effects.Alien RacersTM R/C - UltroxTM
