QUICK STA RT STEP 3: RACING YOUR SCOOTER .
1 Swim the Remote Control Handset and the Motor Sumter
STEP 1: BATTERY INSTALLATION
Radlo Control Handset
1. Switch the power to ‘OFF'.
2. Using a Phillips mam/er (not Included) remove the
sawandbausryeonwamnentmvarfrommebomumof
lhs Hanwat. (see Fig. i)
1 Install one (1) W alkaline battery (not Included)
making sure the (0) and H ends face the proper direction
as intimated inside the battery commitment (Fig. 1)
4. Reptaoe the battery cover a. tighten the screw.

Motor Scooter
1. Using a Pruititps mwdrlver (not Inducted) remove the
screw and battery mammoovsffimn he bottom of
the scooter.(Fig. 2)
2. insert three (3) AM (1 .5V) Alkaline batteries (not indudsd)
making sure the (t) and (-) ends face the proper direction
as Indicated Inside the battery mailman. (Fig. 2)
3. Replace the battery cover & tighten the screw.
STEP 2: GIVE YOUR BRATZ KIDZT" A RIDE

fastener (Fig. 3)

3. Push the FORWARD. BACKWARD, LEFT and RIGHT

NOTE: An indicator light on the handset will light only when you
push the buttonot

MOTOR SCOOTER STEERING ADJUSTMENT
1. Adjust your motor scooters steering by rotating the Steering
Knob on by on. (Fig. 5)
2. After each adiustment. place your motor scooter on the ground
and take it tor a spin!
3. Repeat these steps until you got the best steering action
tar your motor scooter.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
lF THERE IS NO FUNCTION BETWEEN THE REMOTE CONTROL HANDSET AND THE MOTOR SCOOTER:
' Make sure the Remote Control Hendeet and the Motor Scooter switches to the ON position.
- Make sure the batteries are inserted properly.
' Replace the old batteries with new alkaline batteries
Move the remote control handset closer to the motor scooter to detérrnine the best communication between the two. (T he
operating range is approximately 6 to 5 feet.)
- When not In use, tum both the remote and scooter switches to OFF to save battery power.
' HELPFUL HINTS
CAUTION: DO NOT operate units during ttmnderetnrrna. DO NOT operate the motor scooter on the street of in traffic.
CAUTION: Keep ringers, hair and loose clothing away from the tires. wheel hubs and motors while the motor scooter is switched on.
' Avoid waterwhen racing your motor scooter. in addition. do not submerge your Motor Scooter Handset In water.
- When your motor scooter starts to lose power and/or experiences a loss of performance ability. replace the batteries. -
- Your motor scooter is operated by radio waves. it Is possible the unit may not perform properly due to interference from nearby
devices such as a cordless phones, hair dryers. radios, wallde-tallties or otherradlo-controiled toys.
- Avoid operating the meter scooter in sand and snow.
- Always select a safe place u: play. Never operate your motor scooter on populated streets.
