BATTERY INSTALLATION

1 Ask an adult to help install baflei‘les,
Z. Retrieve CHOU CHOU'S outfit to reach the battery compartment
on her back.
3 Lift the flap that is hzld by hook-nnd—Ioop closures.
4 Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not mciudzd), remove the screw and
battery compariment cover.
5 Install three (3) AA alkaline batteries (mi included) maid? sure that the
(i) and (—) ends face the proper direction as indicated inSI e the battery
compartment.
6. Ropiace ‘lhe compartment caver and tighten the screw.
7. Turn thz ON/OFF Switch to ON. The swnch is lccmed next to Hie ballery.

picked up again, she will go back into Active Play mode.

Turning OFF CHOU CHOU
Turn CHOU CHOU‘s OFF/ON swiich to OFF when she is no? gomg to be played with for long periods of time. This
will conserve baTlery power. Also remember to turn the OFF/ON switch io OFF on the back of the Heart—shaped
Necklace.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS

Clean the outside of the dolls head, arms and legs with a damp cloth. DO NOT wash CHOU CHOU in a tub or
washing machine!
NOTE: Keep moisture away from battery compartment or electronics.

The Heart-shaped Necklace features a breakaway, hook and loop fastener which will open if pressure is
applied to the necklace. This is a safety feature to prevent entanglement and possible injury. Do not modify or
replace the hack and loop fastener in any way,
SAFE BATTERY USAGE
~ Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
~ Use only the type battery recommended for the unit.
- Batteries should be replaced only by an adult,
' Insert batteries with the correct polarity ( s and ~ ).
- Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
~ Do not short-circuit batteries,
- When not used for an extended time, remove batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.
~ Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
~ Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
~ Do not recharge non—rechargeable batteries.
~ Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
