Handsfree CARKIT with FM Transmitter & TTS
When charging is completed, charging status icon is turned off.

[Note] Use only the power adapter supplied with handsfree. Using any other adapter could
damage your handsfree, create a fire hazard, or cause a risk of electric shock.

CHARGING
Before using your handsfree, charge the battery for at least
3 hours. Charging the battery completely (and keeping it
charged) will help you get the longest possible talk and
standby time out of the battery. (On average, the battery
provides about 12 hours of talk time, 6 hours of playing time
and about 400 hours of standby time.) Connect an adapter
to the power connector on the side of handsfree and plug it
into automobile (or any standard 12V~24V) power outlet.

TURNING ON/OFF
TURNING ON : Please slide the cover up.
TURNING OFF : Please slide the cover down.
PAIR THE KIT TO YOUR BLUETOOTH PHONE
1. Please slide the cover up to turn on.
2. You hear the voice announcement “Please pair phone now” and
the Bluetooth status icon [ ] will blink.
3. Set your Bluetooth mobile phone to discover handsfree. For the
most mobile phones, you can find Bluetooth mode by selecting
Setting/Tools- Connections- Bluetooth (For further information,
please refer to your mobile phone’s manual)
4. When your mobile phone finds handsfree, confirm it by selecting
“yes” or “ok”. .
5. Enter PIN number “0000”(4 zeros)

AUTO PHONEBOOK DOWNLOAD
1. If your mobile supports PBAP, handsfree will be automatically disconnected
with your phone after pairing..
2. Handsfree is automatically reconnected with the voice announcement “loading
phone book”, and starting download phone book. (If you can hear a beep sound
instead of the voice “loading phone book”, it is failed to download phonebook)

finishing download.
4. Then, handsfree will connect with your phone automatically.
THE PROCESS OF PHONEBOOK DOWNLOADS MANUALLY
[Note] This function is to update handsfree’s phonebook.
1. After connect MK70 with your phone, press FM button for 2 seconds.
2. If your mobile supports PBAP, the phone automatically disconnect with your
phone.
3. Handsfree is automatically reconnected with the voice announcement “loading
phone book”, and starting download phone book. (If you can hear a beep sound
instead of the voice “loading phone book”, it is failed to download phonebook.)
4. You will hear the voice announcement “loading phone book successful” with
finishing download.
5. Then, handsfree will connect with your phone automatically.
[Note] Stopping phonebook downloads: Phonebook download takes some seconds depending on
your mobile. To stop download phonebook, press the FM button.
(It takes about 15sec at least from starting download phone book)
AUTOMATIC CONNECTION: Handsfree supports auto connection that makes it
possible to be automatically connected to the last
connected device after turning on.
EASY PAIRING: Handsfree goes into the Pairing Mode automatically when it is
turned on for the first time.
[Note] If you want to go to “pairing mode” manually, at first, make handsfree stand by state
(not connected with your phone), and press Multi-Function button for about 4sec until
you hear a beep sound.
SIMPLE PAIRING: You can pair handsfree with your mobile phone without entering
the pin number (0000), if your mobile phone supports Bluetooth version 2.1.
1. Last call-Redialing
Press the Multi-Function button[ ].
2. Voice Dialing
Press the Multi-Function button[ ] for 2 seconds until you hear a beep sound,
then voice dialing is activated on handsfree. If you want to cancel voice dialing,
press the Multi-Function button[ ] during the voice dial Mode.
[Note] Please make sure that your phone supports the Voice Recognition first. (See your phone’s
manual for detailed instructions)
RECEIVING A CALL
You can hear the ring tones with the caller name from handsfree.
Press the Multi-Function button[ ] to receive call.
REJECTING A CALL
Press the Multi-Function button[ ] for 2 seconds.
ENDING A CALL
Press the Multi-Function button[ ] during the call or just press the “End” button
on the phone.
TRANSFERRING A CALL
To transfer a call from handsfree to your mobile phone and vice versa, press the
Multi-Function button[ ] on handsfree during the call for 2 seconds until you
hear a beep.
ADJUSTING A VOLUME
You can adjust the volume by pressing the volume up (+) or down (-) button
during the call or incoming calls.
[Note] In FM mode, volume control is only available from your car audio.
[Note]TTS volume can be changed during hearing TTS announcement, and will be adjusted from
the next voice announcement.

MIKE MUTE
If you press the volume down (-) button for 2 seconds, the microphone is muted.
You can hear a beep every 10 seconds during the mute mode.
[Note] The MIC mute mode can be deactivated by pressing volume down (-) button for 2 seconds again.
CALL WAITING
To activate call waiting function, you must subscribe to call waiting through your
service provider, and your phone must support the hands-free profile.
1. To put your current call on hold and switch to the waiting call, press and hold
volume up (+) until you hear 2 long beeps. (about 4 seconds) When you release
the button, you’ll be connected to the waiting call. When you want to switch back
to the current call, press and hold volume up again for 4 seconds.
2. To hang up your current call and switch to the waiting call, press and hold
volume down (-) until you hear 2 long beeps. (about 4 seconds) When you release
the button, you’ll be connected to the waiting call.
[Recommended] Press the “SEND” button of your mobile phone to activate the call waiting function.
[Note] Some features may not be compatible with certain mobile.
RESETTING THE HANDS-FREE
If you are having some trouble with handsfree or you want to delete all your information (paired device information, volume level, etc.), reset it. Press and hold
Multi-function and volume down (-) until you hear a beep (about 4 seconds).
Then turn off and turn on handsfree.
[Note] Resetting is only possible when standby mode after disconnecting with your mobile phone.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Play Music
Make sure that handsfree and your mobile should be connected each other before
playing music. When you play music in your mobile phone, it will automatically
transfer the music to your handsfree. Music will automatically be paused when

you have an incoming call. When a call is ended, it will start to play again.
[Note] The auto connection between calling and playing music depends on the user’s phone.
FULL NAME TTS(TEXT TO SPEECH) via PHONE BOOK DOWNLOADING
Handsfree automatically will start downloading process when it is paired with
mobile phone. When incoming call, handsfree will announce the Caller’s Name.
[Note] For activating the name TTS, you should download the phone book from your phone book first.
[Note]For deactivating or activating the TTS function, press and hold Multi-function and volume
down (-) until you hear a beep (about 2 seconds). You can also use this function by pressing
just volume down (-) until you hear a beep (about 2 seconds) when handsfree is in incoming call.
VOICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Handsfree gives out voice announcements to inform you the device’s status(e.g.
power ON/OFF, pairing, FM mode, and etc). Handsfree has 10 different voice
announcement languages. The basic option is UK English.

Please refer to the following steps to change a language.
1. Set handsfree in “pairing mode”
2. Press FM button about 2 seconds, then you can hear the configured language.
3. Press volume up (+) or down(-) button to find a new language.
4. Select preferred language by pressing FM button, then new language will be selected.
5. Then, handsfree automatically return to the “paring mode”
USING FM TRANSMITTER
The FM transmitter allows you to transmit calls and music from your mobile to the
car stereo when the Hands-Free Unit and car radio are having the same frequency.
1. First, please connect your mobile phone with handsfree.
2. Simply press the FM button. Then the FM status icon will turn on and the
available FM frequency will be announced.

3. Please retune your radio in to the announced FM frequency
4. Now, you are ready to transmit calls or music from your phone to your car stereo.
[Note] If your radio supports RDS (Radio Data System), Caller ID will appear on the radio display (It
depends on your car audio).
[Note] If there is no transmission (Music or Phone conversation), FM mode will be deactivated 1 minute later.
CHANGING FM FREQUENCY
In FM mode, handsfree will always transmit calls and music to the car stereo. To
make FM transmitter work better, you need to find a non-congested frequency.
FM audio quality is very dependent on the FM frequency band. If it sounds bad,
you can change to the new FM frequency.
1. Press FM button to enter FM mode.
2. Press volume up(+) button until you hear a beep (about 2 seconds).
3. The handsfree unit start to find new frequency with the voice announcement
“Searching”.
4. After that, a new frequency will be announced
5. Then, please retune your radio in to the announced FM frequency.
The Hands-Free Unit will automatically save the new frequency.
6. If you would like to change FM frequency manually, press volume up (+) or
down (-) button in FM mode. The new frequency will be announced by 100 KHz.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have problem with handsfree, see the suggestion in the table below.

Handsfree won’t turn on
Handsfree won’t pair with

- Making sure the call connected and is still active
- Making sure the phone transferred the call to handsfree.
- Press and hold Multi function for 2 seconds to transfer the call.
- Turning the speaker volume up
- Moving closer to your phone (if you aren’t carrying it)
- Keep the battery fully charged (As the battery power starts to run out,
the speaker will get softer)
Handsfree keeps playing a - Checking the battery status
melody or beeping, and I - Checking to see if your phone has lost the network signal. Some phones
