CAUTION: Always ensure the battery you are charging meets the specifications of this charger and that the charger settings are correct. Not doing so can
result in excessive heat and other related product malfunctions, which can lead to user injury or property damage. Please contact Horizon Hobby or an

OPERATING YOUR CHARGER

Charger lead with receiver connector (DYNC0033)

CAUTION: Before charging, always ensure you have chosen the correct battery chemistry type for the battery you are charging.
GETTING STARTED
AUTION: Never connect the AC and DC input cords to an active power
C
source at the same time. This will void the warranty, cause product damage
and possibly injure the user.
When Using an External DC Power Source:
1. Ensure the charger is powered OFF.
2. Connect the DC power cord to the charger DC Power Input Port (I).
3. Connect the DC alligator clips to the DC power source.
4. Power ON the charger with the Power Switch (G).
5. When the charger is powered ON, a message will appear on the LCD Touch
Screen (J).
NOTICE: Always connect cable polarities correctly.
NOTICE: Always consult 12V battery collateral materials or Horizon Hobby before
using with sources other than a standard AC wall outlet.

When Using an External AC Power Source:
1. Ensure the charger is powered OFF.
2. Connect the AC power cord to the charger AC Power Input Port (H).
3. Connect the AC power cord to the AC power source.
4. Power ON the charger with the Power Switch (G).
5. When the charger is powered ON, a message will appear on the LCD Touch
Screen (J).

1. Press the Left and Right Arrows on the LCD Touch Screen to scroll through
the main menu screens.
2. Press the action at the bottom of the LCD Touch Screen to enter that menu.
3. Press a parameter to highlight that parameter.
4. Press the Up and Down Arrows to edit the parameter.

5. Press Select to save the parameter.
6. If there is more than one screen of parameters, press the top right corner of the
LCD Touch Screen to scroll through the parameter screens.
7. Press Back to return to the main menu screens.

High Voltage cells capable of being charged to 4.35 Volts.

CAUTION: The Lithium charge program menus are to be used ONLY for the charging and discharging of Lithium battery packs. Charging other battery types
using the Lithium charge programs will damage the battery or the charger.

4. Connect the balance connector of the battery to the JST_XH balance adapter.
5. Press the Left and Right Arrows on the LCD Touch Screen to scroll through
the main menu screens until you reach Program Select=Li-Po/Li-Ion/Li-Fe.

1. Connect the banana plugs of the battery adapter cable to the Power Output
Black (–) and Power Output Red (+), making sure that the positive and

When the charger is powered ON, there is a series of self tests and the screen will
show the charger brand name and model number.

CAUTION: Always power ON the charger before connecting a battery, or
damage to the charger and the battery can result.

CAUTION: Only use 4.35V capable Li-Po batteries when using the Li-HV charge mode. Charging other Li-Po batteries in this mode can lead to property damage,
fire, or serious injury.

12. Press the arrow in the top right of the LCD Touch Screen to see the rest of
the Charging information.

Banana to Traxxas® insulated charge adapter: male (DYNC0054)

1. Press the Left and Right Arrows on the LCD Touch Screen to scroll through
the main menu screens until you reach Program Select=Li-HV.

1. Connect the banana plugs of the battery adapter cable to the Power Output
Black (–) (A) and Power Output Red (+) (B), making sure that the positive
and negative connectors are not reversed.
2. Connect the JST_XH balance adapter to the Balance Circuit Adapter Board
Connector (C).
3. Connect the battery connector to the battery adapter cable.
4. Connect the balance connector of the battery to the JST_XH balance adapter.
5. Press the Left and Right Arrows on the LCD Touch Screen to scroll through
the main menu screens until you reach Program Select=Li-Po/Li-Ion/Li-Fe.

Never leave the power supply, charger and battery unattended during use.
Never attempt to charge dead, damaged or wet battery packs.
Never attempt to charge a battery pack containing different types of batteries.
Never allow children under 14 years of age to charge battery packs.
Never charge batteries in extremely hot or cold places or place in direct sunlight.
Never charge a battery if the cable has been pinched or shorted.
Never connect the charger if the power cable has been pinched or shorted.
Never connect the charger to an automobile 12V battery while the vehicle is running.
Never attempt to dismantle the charger or use a damaged charger.
Never attach your charger to both an AC and a DC power source at the same time.
Never connect the input jack (DC input) to AC power.
Always use only rechargeable batteries designed for use with this type of charger.
Always inspect the battery before charging.
Always keep the battery away from any material that could be affected by heat.
Always monitor the charging area and have a fire extinguisher available at all times.
Always end the charging process if the battery becomes hot to the touch or starts to change form (swell) during the charge process.
Always connect the charge cable to the charger first, then connect the battery to avoid short circuit between the charge leads. Reverse the sequence when
disconnecting.
Always connect the positive red leads (+) and negative black leads (–) correctly.
Always disconnect the battery after charging, and let the charger cool between charges.
Always charge in a well-ventilated area.
Always terminate all processes and contact Horizon Hobby if the product malfunctions.

Akkus oder Akkus im falschen Mode. Falsch- oder Fehlbedienung kann zu großer Hitze, Feuer oder tödlichen Verletzungen führen.

LASSEN SIE DAS NETZGERÄT, LADEGERÄT UND AKKU NIEMALS UNBEAUFSICHTIGT WÄHREND DES BETRIEBES.

Lassen Sie das Netzgerät, Ladegerät und Akku niemals unbeaufsichtigt während des Betriebes.

Überprüfen Sie immer den Akku vor dem Laden.
Halten Sie den Akku fern von Materialien die von Hitze beeinflußt werden können.
Beobachten Sie immer den Ladevorgang und halten einen Feuerlöscher zu jeder Zeit bereit.
Beenden Sie sofort den Ladevorgang wenn der Akku zu heiß zum Anfassen werden sollte, oder seine Form (anschwellen) verändert.
Schließen Sie erst das Ladekabel am Ladegerät an und dann den Akku, um ein verpolen der Anschlüsse zu vermeiden. Trennen Sie die Verbindung nach dem Laden in
umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
Schließen Sie immer die positiven roten (+) Anschlüsse und negativen schwarzen (–) Anschlüsse korrekt an.
Trennen Sie nach dem Laden den Akku vom Ladegerät und lassen das Ladegerät zwischen den Ladevorgängen abkühlen.

8 - LADEN VON BLEI-GEL AKKUS
1. Schließen Sie die Bananenstecker des Akkuadapterkabels an den
Ladeausgang Schwarz (–) und Ladeausgang Rot (+) an und achten bitte
darauf dass die positiven und negativen Anschlüsse nicht vertauscht sind.
2. Schließen Sie den Akkustecker an das Akku-Adapterkabel an.
3. Drücken Sie den Pfeil nach links oder rechts auf dem LCD Touch Screen um
durch das Hauptmenü zu scrollen bis Sie das Menü Program Select=Pb erreicht
haben.

MODE D’EMPLOI DE VOTRE CHARGEUR

Câble de charge avec prise récepteur (DYNC0033)

ATTENTION: Avant de commencer la charge, veuillez toujours contrôler que le type de batterie sélectionné correspond à la batterie que vous souhaitez charger.
POUR DÉMARRER
ATTENTION: Ne jamais brancher les câbles d’alimentation CA et CC
simultanément à une source d’alimentation active. Ceci aura pour
conséquence d’invalider la garantie, peut endommager le produit et
comporte des risques potentiels de blessures de l’utilisateur.

Quand vous utilisez une source AC externe:
1. Contrôlez que le chargeur est hors tension.
2. Connectez le cordon AC à l’entrée AC du chargeur (H).
3. Connectez le cordon d’alimentation AC à la source AC.
4. Mettez le chargeur sous tension en utilisant l’interrupteur d’alimentation (G).
5. Quand le chargeur est mis sous tension, un message apparait à l’écran LCD
tactile (J).
Connectez la batterie au chargeur:

En cas d’utilisation d’une source d’alimentation CC en entrée externe:
1. Contrôlez que le chargeur est hors tension.
2. Connectez le cordon DC à l’entrée DC du chargeur (I).
ATTENTION: Toujours mettre le chargeur sous tension avant d’y connecter

GUIDE DE PROGRAMMATION

1. Appuyez sur la flèche Gauche et la flèche Droite de l’écran tactile
LCD pour parcourir les écrans du menu principal jusqu’à atteindre Program
Select=Li-HV.

Les 3 sections suivantes traitent uniquement des batteries Li-Po. Les menus relatifs aux
batteries Li-Ion/Li-Fe diffèrent qu’au niveau de la tension des éléments et des batteries.

Sonde de température (DYN5033)

ATTENTION: Utilisez uniquement des batteries compatibles 4,35V lorsque vous utilisez le mode de charge Li-HV. La charge d’autres batteries Li-Po avec ce
mode pourrait endommager le produit, causer un incendie ou des blessures graves.

ATTENTION: Utilisez uniquement les menus des programmes Lithium pour charger ou décharger les batteries Lithium. La charge d’autres types de batteries en
utilisant les programmes de charge Lithium causera des dommages à la batterie et probablement aussi au chargeur.

Surveiller la zone de charge en permanence et toujours avoir un extincteur à portée de main.
Toujours arrêter la charge si le chargeur ou la batterie deviennent très chauds ou que la batterie commence à se déformer.
Toujours commencer par connecter les câbles de charge au chargeur, puis à la batterie pour éviter tout court-circuit entre les câbles de charge. Lors du
débranchement, procédez dans l’ordre inverse.
Respectez toujours les polarités: rouge (+) et noir (–).
Toujours débrancher la batterie et le chargeur après la charge et les laisser refroidir.
Toujours charger les batteries dans un endroit bien aéré/ventilé.

Maintenance et réparation - Si votre produit doit faire l’objet d’une maintenance ou
d‘une réparation, adressez-vous soit à votre revendeur spécialisé, soit directement à
Horizon. Emballez le produit soigneusement. Veuillez noter que le carton d‘emballage
d’origine ne suffit pas, en règle générale, à protéger le produit des dégâts pouvant
survenir pendant le transport. Faites appel à un service de messagerie proposant une
fonction de suivi et une assurance, puisque Horizon ne prend aucune responsabilité
pour l’expédition du produit jusqu’à sa réception acceptée. Veuillez joindre une

Réparations payantes - En cas de réparation payante, nous établissons un devis
que nous transmettons à votre revendeur. La réparation sera seulement effectuée
après que nous ayons reçu la confirmation du revendeur. Le prix de la réparation
devra être acquitté au revendeur. Pour les réparations payantes, nous facturons
au minimum 30 minutes de travail en atelier ainsi que les frais de réexpédition.
En l’absence d’un accord pour la réparation dans un délai de 90 jours, nous nous
réservons la possibilité de détruire le produit ou de l’utiliser autrement.

COME INIZIARE
ATTENZIONE: Non collegare mai nello stesso tempo l’alimentatore e i cavi
di ingresso a c.c. a una sorgente di alimentazione attiva. Questo annulla la
garanzia, danneggia il prodotto e potrebbe provocare lesioni all’utilizzatore.
Quando si utilizza una sorgente esterna a c.c.:
1. Accertarsi che il caricatore sia spento.
2. Collegare il cavo di alimentazione DC all’apposita presa sul caricabatterie (I).
3. Collegare le pinze (coccodrillo) all’alimentatore DC.
4. Accendere il caricatore con il suo interruttore (G).
5. Quando il caricatore è acceso, appare un messaggio sullo schermo LCD
“touch” (J).
AVVISO: Collegare i cavi rispettando le polarità.
AVVISO: Informarsi sempre prima di usare le batterie a 12V o altri alimentatori
diversi dallo standard AC.

Quando si usa l’alimentatore AC esterno:
1. Accertarsi che il caricatore sia spento.

3. Collegare l’altro capo del cavo alla presa AC.

GUIDA RAPIDA DI PROGRAMMAZIONE

1. Premere le frecce Destra o Sinistra sullo schermo LCD per far scorrere il menu
principale fino a raggiungere Program Select =Li HV.

Nelle tre sezioni seguenti vengono considerate solo le batterie Li-Po. Le Li-Ion e le
Li-Fe differiscono SOLO per i valori di tensione della cella e quindi del pacco.

Modalità di carica Ni-Cd/Ni-MH: Picco; Li-Po/Li-Ion/Li-Fe/Pb: CC/CV

ATTENZIONE: quando si usa la modalità di carica LiPo HV, collegare al caricatore solo celle con tensione 4,35V. Se si collegassero altre batterie LiPo ci
sarebbe la possibilità di causare incendi con relativi danni e/o lesioni.

ATTENZIONE: il programma di carica per le batterie al Litio si deve usare solo con questo tipo di batterie. Se si dovessero caricare altri tipi di batterie, si
potrebbe danneggiare sia il caricatore che la batteria.

1 - SCHERMATE TEST AUTOMATICO E PROGRAMMMA SELEZIONE

ATTENZIONE: se si usa una corrente di carica che non è compatibile con la capacità della batteria, si potrebbe danneggiare sia il caricatore che la batteria.

Corrente di scarica 0,10A a 5,0A (con incrementi di 0.1A fino a 10W massimi)

2A- LITIO ALTA TENSIONE

Quando si accende il caricatore, viene attuata una autodiagnosi e lo schermo
mostra il nome della marca e il numero del modello.

ATTENZIONE: verificare sempre che la batteria sotto carica soddisfi le specifiche di questo caricabatterie e che le impostazioni del caricabatterie siano
corrette. Non farlo potrebbe portare a un eccessivo calore e ad altre disfunzioni del prodotto, che potrebbero portare a lesioni per l’utente o a danni alla
proprietà. Rivolgersi a Horizon Hobby o a un rivenditore autorizzato per domande sulla compatibilità.

AVVERTIMENTO: Non lasciare mai incustodito il caricabatterie, non superare la corrente di carica massima, non effettuare la carica di batterie non approvate
o caricare le batterie in modo sbagliato. Il mancato rispetto di queste disposizioni può comportare un calore eccessivo, incendi e lesioni gravi.

NON LASCIARE MAI L’ALIMENTATORE, IL CARICABATTERIE E LA BATTERIA INCUSTODITI DURANTE L’USO.
NON CARICARE MAI LE BATTERIE DURANTE LA NOTTE SENZA SUPERVISIONE.
Non lasciare mai l’alimentatore, il caricabatterie e la batteria incustoditi durante l’uso.
Non tentare mai di caricare batterie fuori uso, danneggiate o bagnate.
Non tentare di caricare un pacco batteria composto da batterie di tipo diverso.
Non consentire ai minori di caricare i pacchi batteria.
Non caricare mai le batterie in luoghi estremamente caldi o freddi o esposti alla luce diretta del sole.
Non caricare mai una batteria se il cavo è schiacciato o in cortocircuito.
Non collegare mai il caricabatterie se il cavo di alimentazione è schiacciato o in cortocircuito.
Non collegare mai il caricabatterie a una batteria di automobile da 12 V, mentre il veicolo è in movimento.
Non tentare mai di smontare il caricabatterie o di utilizzare un caricabatterie danneggiato.
Non connettere mai più di un pacco batteria al caricatore in una sola volta.
Non collegare mai la presa di ingresso (ingresso C.C.) alla corrente alternata.
Utilizzare sempre batterie ricaricabili progettate per l’utilizzo con questo tipo di caricabatterie.
Controllare sempre la batteria prima di caricarla.
Tenere sempre la batteria lontana da qualsiasi materiale che possa essere alterato dal calore.
Controllare sempre la zona di ricarica e tenere in ogni momento un estintore a disposizione.
Terminare sempre il processo di carica se le batterie scottano al tatto o iniziano a deformarsi (gonfiarsi) durante il procedimento di carica.
Collegare sempre prima il cavo al caricabatterie, poi collegare la batteria per evitare un cortocircuito fra i cavi del caricabatterie. Invertire la sequenza delle
operazioni per la disconnessione.
Finita la carica scollegare sempre la batteria e il caricabatterie e attendere che si raffreddino tra una carica e l’altra.
Collegare sempre correttamente il cavo positivo (+) al rosso e il negativo (–) al nero.
Caricare sempre in aree ventilate.
Interrompere sempre qualsiasi processo e rivolgersi a Horizon Hobby se il prodotto funziona male.

14 - CARCIA DI APPARECCHIATURE USB
Questo caricatore ha la possibilità di caricare qualsiasi apparecchiatura USB compatibile con la porta di uscita USB 2,1A (F). Per usare la funzione di carica basta
collegare l’apparecchiatura da caricare mentre il caricatore è acceso. Esso fornirà una corrente fino a 2,1A con una tensione di 5V DC.

Durante il funzionamento del caricatore, il circuito controlla la batteria e le funzioni del caricatore. Se sullo schermo del caricatore vengono visualizzati i seguenti

REVERSE POLARITY

Verificare che tutti i collegamenti abbiano la corretta polarità prima tra alimentazione e caricabatterie, quindi tra caricabatterie e
batteria.

PROCESS INTERRUPTED

Verificare che l’alimentazione sia correttamente collegata per la carica.

OUTPUT SHORT CIRCUIT

Verificare che non ci siano cortocircuiti tra i poli della batteria o la batteria e il caricabatterie. Sostituire i cavi danneggiati.

INPUT VOLTAGE ERROR

La tensione d’ingresso del caricabatterie è scesa sotto al valore predefinito o a quello impostato con la regolazione della tensione
d’ingresso. Verificare che la sorgente di alimentazione per il caricabatterie fornisca la corretta tensione in ingresso.

CHARGER FAILURE

È necessario riparare l’elettronica del caricabatterie.

BATTERY LOW VOLTAGE

La tensione della batteria è inferiore al valore impostato nel caricabatterie. Regolare le impostazioni, verificare che la batteria non sia
danneggiata o sostituire la batteria.

BATTERY HIGH VOLTAGE

La tensione della batteria è superiore al valore impostato sul caricabatterie. Regolare le impostazioni, verificare che la batteria non sia
danneggiata oppure sostituire la batteria.

CELL LOW VOLTAGE

La tensione della cella è inferiore al valore impostato nel caricatore. Regolare le impostazioni, poi accertarsi che la batteria non sia
danneggiata oppure sostituirla.

CELL HIGH VOLTAGE

La tensione della cella è superiore al valore impostato nel caricatore. Regolare le impostazioni, poi accertarsi che la batteria non sia
danneggiata oppure sostituirla.

CELL CONNECT ERROR

Accertarsi che il collegamento del bilanciamento sia corretto per la carica.

CHARGER OVERHEATING

La temperatura del caricatore è troppo alta. Spegnerlo e lasciarlo raffreddare.

OVER POWER

La tensione di ingresso del caricatore supera il valore di default o quello impostato. Accertarsi che la sorgente di alimentazione del
caricatore fornisca la tensione corretta.

MAX CURRENT

La corrente è più alta del valore impostato nel caricatore. Regolare le impostazioni, poi accertarsi che la batteria non sia danneggiata
oppure sostituirla.

SAFETY TIMER

Il tempo massimo di sicurezza è stato raggiunto.

MAX CAPACITY

La capacità massima è stata raggiunta.

MAX EXT. TEMP

La temperatura esterna è troppo alta. Lasciare che batteria e caricatore si raffreddino.

GARANZIA
Periodo di garanzia - La garanzia esclusiva - Horizon Hobby, LLC (Horizon)
garantisce che i prodotti acquistati (il “Prodotto”) sono privi di difetti relativi ai
materiali e di eventuali errori di montaggio. Il periodo di garanzia è conforme alle
disposizioni legali del paese nel quale il prodotto è stato acquistato. Tale periodo di
garanzia ammonta a 6 mesi e si estende ad altri 18 mesi dopo tale termine.
Limiti della garanzia - (a) La garanzia è limitata all’acquirente originale
(Acquirente) e non è cedibile a terzi. L’acquirente ha il diritto a far riparare o a far
sostituire la merce durante il periodo di questa garanzia. La garanzia copre solo quei
prodotti acquistati presso un rivenditore autorizzato Horizon. Altre transazioni di
terze parti non sono coperte da questa garanzia. La prova di acquisto è necessaria
per far valere il diritto di garanzia. Inoltre, Horizon si riserva il diritto di cambiare o
modificare i termini di questa garanzia senza alcun preavviso e di escludere tutte le
altre garanzie già esistenti.
(b) Horizon non si assume alcuna garanzia per la disponibilità del prodotto, per
l’adeguatezza o l’idoneità del prodotto a particolari previsti dall’utente. È sola
responsabilità dell’acquirente il fatto di verificare se il prodotto è adatto agli scopi

(c) Richiesta dell’acquirente – spetta soltanto a Horizon, a propria discrezione
riparare o sostituire qualsiasi prodotto considerato difettoso e che rientra nei termini

prodotto è difettoso. Horizon si riserva il diritto di controllare qualsiasi componente
utilizzato che viene coinvolto nella rivalsa di garanzia. Le decisioni relative alla
sostituzione o alla riparazione avvengono solo in base alla discrezione di Horizon.
Questa garanzia non copre dei danni superficiali o danni per cause di forza maggiore,
uso errato del prodotto, negligenza, uso ai fini commerciali, o una qualsiasi modifica
a qualsiasi parte del prodotto. Questa garanzia non copre danni dovuti ad una
installazione errata, ad un funzionamento errato, ad una manutenzione o un tentativo
di riparazione non idonei a cura di soggetti diversi da Horizon. La restituzione del
prodotto a cura dell’acquirente, o da un suo rappresentante, deve essere approvata
per iscritto dalla Horizon.
Limiti di danno - Horizon non si riterrà responsabile per danni speciali, diretti,
indiretti o consequenziali; perdita di profitto o di produzione; perdita commerciale
connessa al prodotto, indipendentemente dal fatto che la richiesta si basa su un
contratto o sulla garanzia. Inoltre la responsabilità di Horizon non supera mai in
nessun caso il prezzo di acquisto del prodotto per il quale si chiede la responsabilità.
Horizon non ha alcun controllo sul montaggio, sull’utilizzo o sulla manutenzione
del prodotto o di combinazioni di vari prodotti. Quindi Horizon non accetta nessuna
responsabilità per danni o lesioni derivanti da tali circostanze. Con l’utilizzo e il
montaggio del prodotto l’utente acconsente a tutte le condizioni, limitazioni e riserve

Manutenzione e riparazione - Se il prodotto deve essere ispezionato o riparato,
si prega di rivolgersi ad un rivenditore specializzato o direttamente ad Horizon.
Il prodotto deve essere Imballato con cura. Bisogna far notare che i box originali
solitamente non sono adatti per effettuare una spedizione senza subire alcun
danno. Bisogna effettuare una spedizione via corriere che fornisce una tracciabilità
e un’assicurazione, in quanto Horizon non si assume alcuna responsabilità in
relazione alla spedizione del prodotto. Inserire il prodotto in una busta assieme ad
una descrizione dettagliata dei problemi e ad una lista di tutti i singoli componenti
spediti. Inoltre abbiamo bisogno di un indirizzo completo, di un numero di telefono
per rivolgere ulteriori domande e di un indirizzo e-mail.
Garanzia a riparazione - Le richieste in garanzia verranno elaborate solo se è
presente una prova d’acquisto in originale proveniente da un rivenditore specializzato
autorizzato, nella quale è ben visibile la data di acquisto. Se la garanzia viene
confermata, allora il prodotto verrà riparato o sostituito. Questa decisione spetta
esclusivamente a Horizon Hobby.
Riparazioni a pagamento - Se bisogna effettuare una riparazione a pagamento,
effettueremo un preventivo che verrà inoltrato al vostro rivenditore. La riparazione
verrà effettuata dopo l’autorizzazione da parte del vostro rivenditore. La somma per
la riparazione dovrà essere pagata al vostro rivenditore. Le riparazioni a pagamento
avranno un costo minimo di 30 minuti di lavoro e in fattura includeranno le spese di
restituzione. Qualsiasi riparazione non pagata e non richiesta entro 90 giorni verrà
considerata abbandonata e verrà gestita di conseguenza.
ATTENZIONE: Le riparazioni a pagamento sono disponibili solo
sull’elettronica e sui motori. Le riparazioni a livello meccanico, soprattutto
per gli elicotteri e le vetture RC sono molto costose e devono essere
effettuate autonomamente dall’acquirente.
