Within this period, MASTERBUILT Mfg., Inc. shall correct any defect by repairing or replacing defective parts of the equipment, or making available the parts thereof, FOB Columbus, GA. MASTERBUILT Mfg., Inc. shall not be obligated to repair or replace equipment which has been repaired by others, abused, altered or misused. All bikes MUST be tied down with straps and/or secured with a chain. Check all hardware connections (nuts & bolts) before each use. The HITCH-HAUL® Bike Rack is designed to carry most bikes or small motor bikes where the wheels fit inside the cradle arms. For added security, use a locking bike chain. HITCH-HAUL® Folding Tow Bar Assemble the three sections to become one unit. The Masterbuilt range of Hitch-Haul® products can be accessorized to suit your own individual needs. Use this folding tow bar to be able to tow a trailer or boat and still have your Hitch-Haul® cargo carrier attached to your vehicle. 1. Place the flat plate sections of two Bike Rack Runners side by side. One should overlap the other to form a square hole. (The one of top will be the center section.) 2. Insert one of the carriage bolts from underneath. Secure with one of the locking nuts. 3. Place the third Bike Rack Runner underneath the center section to form a square hole. Insert one of the carriage bolts from underneath. Secure with one of the locking nuts. 4. Place bike rack into the HITCH-HAUL® platform as shown in Fig. 2. Secure with one of the carriage bolts by placing the bolt from the top of the bike rack and securing from underneath the platform with one of the locking nuts. The holes are pre-punched in the platform. HITCH-HAUL® Side Extension Kit This accessory for the Hitch-Haul® helps you carry your load with the added security of the side rails. Used with the HitchWeb, is perfect for those smaller items you may want to haul. HITCH-HAUL® Web and Tail Light Kit 5. The bike rack may be mounted on either the left or right side of the HITCH-HAUL®. The Bike Rack Runners MUST slant toward the outside of your vehicle as indicated in Fig. 3. The tie down strap is included to secure 1, 2, or 3 bikes. See Fig. 4. Before each use, ensure all bolts are secured tightly. Tip: These two accessories, sold separately, round out your Masterbuilt Hitch-Haul® for those camping, vacation or even short trips. Your load will be safe and secure during your journey. The Bike Rack works great as a security device. When bikes are in place and secured, weave a chain through the bike tires and the bike rack runners and lock into place. (Chain and lock are not provided with this product.)
