IV. COOL STUNTS
This is a high-performance stunt vehicle...challenging and fun
to drive. You’ll need to PRACTICE to perfect your stunt tech-
nique. Test your skill and challenge your friends!
WHEELIES
Press the left button as shown while driving the vehicle straight,
it will stand up with one wheel as shown and move forward.
To come out of your wheelie gently tap on the brakes and
continue driving.
*Your vehicle will do wheelies on command! It also does
great stunts like jumps, rolls, and spin outs, and just
keeps on going. The Turbo Pro Wheelie Cycle™ gives you
amazing stunt cycle action with realistic tilt-motion con-
trols that feel and respond like the real thing.
WHEELIE TIP:
Drive for 8 seconds in a straight line to get the gyro stabilizer
up to super fast speed, then press the wheelie button to pop
a wheelie. Make sure cycle is going straight when you pop a
wheelie.
TURBO BOOST
Press the TURBO BOOST button on the right to add some extra
punch to your wicked fast speed!
Tip: Wheelie Cycle performs stunts best when the gyro is
running at full speed. The gyro automatically revs up as you
drive the vehicle. For best stunts, drive the vehicle around for 8
seconds or more to rev up the gyro before attempting a stunt.

V. BATTERY CHARGING/CARE
Use only Tyco® R/C 9.6V NiMH battery packs. Other batteries may
leak or rupture, causing personal injury and damage.
1. Plug the wall pack charger into a standard wall outlet.
2. Connect the wires leading from the battery pack to the wall pack
charger connector. Make certain the two connectors are tightly
snapped together.
3. To disconnect the wires, push down on the connector clip and
pull apart.
4. After charging, the battery will feel warm. Have no fear, that’s
normal for fully charged batteries.
5. New battery packs must be charged for 5 1/2 hours the first two
times. After that you’re looking at 4 hours per charge. Charging
the battery pack for more than 4 hours won’t extend your
running time but if it makes you happy, charge away.
6. Unlike alkaline batteries, which lose power gradually, a NiMH
battery will operate for its normal running time and then lose
most of its power at once. When that starts to happen, recharge
the battery pack.
7. After use, the battery pack will be hot! Wait at least 20 minutes
until the battery pack cools down before recharging. Recharging
a hot battery will greatly reduce the number of times your
battery pack can be recharged.
8. The Charger must be disconnected from the electric supply.
X CAUTION: Use only the charger supplied with this toy. Do not
use any other charging source.
VI. BATTERY INSTALLATION
Your vehicle will only operate with the TYCO® R/C 9.6V NiMH
Battery Pack and Charger. For detailed information regarding
rechargeable battery charging and safety, please refer to “Battery
Charging/Care” Section.
VEHICLE
1. Rotate the battery latches to open position. Open the battery
door.
2. Plug the wire connector into the battery compartment as shown.
3. Insert the battery pack into the battery compartment as shown.
4. Close the battery door. Rotate the battery latches to the locked
position.
5. To remove the battery pack: first turn the vehicle off, turn the
latches on the battery compartment, open the battery door,
unplug the wire connector and lift out the battery pack.
CONTROLLER
1. Open the battery door as shown.
2. Install 2 “AA” batteries inside the battery compartment as
shown.
3. Close the battery door.
VII. QUICK TIPS
1. When your vehicle starts to lose power, it may lose functions or
performance. It’s time for fresh batteries
(or a recharge). Your vehicle’s running time may change
depending on your driving style.
2. Radio interference can make your vehicle run poorly.
Interference can be caused by other R/C vehicles running on the
same frequency, electrical wires, large buildings, CB radios or
other wireless gear. Try to stay away from these!
3. Point your transmitter antenna toward your vehicle. If your
vehicle gets too far away, it won’t work properly.
4. Don’t drive your vehicle through water or snow.
If your vehicle does get wet, wipe it with a towel and allow it to
dry completely.
5. Don’t store your vehicle near heat or in direct sunlight. Always
turn switches OFF and remove all batteries for storage.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY INFORMATION:
• DO NOT RECHARGE BATTERY PACK IF IT’S HOT. ALLOW IT TO
COOL BEFORE RECHARGING.
• DO NOT RECHARGE A BATTERY PACK THAT SHOWS LEAKAGE
OR CORROSION.
• DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THE BATTERY PACK. THE BATTERY
PACK IS A SEALED RECHARGEABLE NICKEL-METAL HYDRIDE
