(A) FCC Rules and IC Rules

・To complying with FCC and IC rules, it must be indicated on a label of end-product

either “Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: UOE-0015573942”, “Contains

Transmitter Module IC: 8250A-M1100M” or “Contains FCC ID: UOE-0015573942” ,

“Contains IC: 8250A-M1100M”

・To complying with FCC and IC rules, following sentences must be included in a

usermanual of end-product.

could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

This device complies with Part 15 of FCC Rules and RSS-Gen of IC Rules. Operation is

subject to the following two conditions:

(1) This device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference,

including interference that may cause undesired operation of this device.

For COBAS-Reader, ferrite core must be used for RF interference suppressions.

We, the manufacturer (Hitachi High-Technologies Corp.) hereby declare that this

equipment (cobas8000 c702), model c702 unit is in compliance with the essential

requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC.
