Wireless Remote
Micro-Trak’s Wireless Remote Accessory Kit makes it easy for
one person to remotely turn a system on and off (run/hold
function) to check for plugged or worn nozzles, general system
operation or to assist with calibration. In addition, the operator
can increase and decrease the rate remotely to verify flow
ranges. The wireless remote has a range of up to 200 ft which
allows the operator to perform these duties at a convenient,
safe and visible location. Kit includes a hand held wireless
transmitter and receiver. Simply plug the receiver cable into an
existing connector on a late model Micro-Trak console, locate
the module as far away from the console, CB radios, etc., as is
practical, and you are ready to go.
Operating Instructions
Introduction
The Wireless Remote is an Optional Accessory Kit that can be
added to Micro-Trak’s Generation II Rate Controllers to provide
wireless Plus, Minus, Run, Hold and Blast functions. The wireless
hand control with five push buttons labeled Plus, Minus, RUN,
HOLD and BLAST, is used to send signals to a receiver/decoder
module connected to the console.
Operation
To use the Wireless Run/Hold functions the user MUST place
the Console in the RUN state PLUS make sure if a Remote Run/
Hold switch is installed that it is also set to RUN.
If a power loss at the console occurs while using the Wireless
Remote, it will switch to the RUN state and the user must press
HOLD again.
First press the HOLD button on the Wireless Transmitter, then
set the console Master Switch and Section Switches to ON and
make sure any remote Run/Hold Switch is in the RUN state.
If the wireless range is not satisfactory or operation is
intermittent, move the receiver module to a higher location,
and make sure it is not near any other electronic equipment.
