You can change the code, and setthe phone to request the code. 2. Open the SIM card holder(4). Insert the SIM card (5)with the contact surfacefacing down into theholder. Close the SIM cardholder (6).3. Observe the batterycontacts (7), and insert thebattery (8). Place the upperpart of the back cover on thedevice (9), and close it (10).Insert a microSD cardUse only compatible microSD cards approved by Nokia for use with this device.Nokia uses approved industry standards for memory cards, but some brandsmay not be fully compatible with this device. Incompatible cards may damagethe card and the device and corrupt data stored on the card.1. Switch the device off, and remove the back cover and the battery of thedevice.2. 3. Open the card holder (2), and insert the memorycard into the card holder with the contact surfacefacing inward (3).4. Close the card holder (4), and slide it to lock (5).5. Insert the battery, and attach the back cover to the device.Charge the batteryCheck the model number of any charger before use with this device. This deviceis intended for use when supplied with power from the AC-3 or AC-4 charger.Warning: Use only batteries, chargers, and enhancements approvedby Nokia for use with this particular model. Change the accent color frameReplace the color accent frame to change to look of your device.1. Remove the back cover of your device.2. Detach the color accent frame first at the upperpart of your device (1) and remove it.3. To mount a color accent frame, affix it at the lowerpart of your device (3) and attach it successivelyfrom bottom to top (4, 5). Press it from the top tosnap it in.4. Before you canreceive new messages, delete some of your old messages.Multimedia messagesOnly devices that have compatible features can receive and display multimediamessages. The appearance of a message may vary depending on the receivingdevice.The wireless network may limit the size of MMS messages. If the inserted pictureexceeds this limit, the device may make it smaller so that it can be sent by MMS.A multimedia message can contain text, pictures, sound clips, and video clips.Create a text or multimedia messageSelect Menu > Messaging > Create message > Message. To add recipients,scroll to the To: field, and enter the recipient’s number or e-mail address, orselect Add to select recipients from the available options. For such connections you need security certificates and possibly asecurity module, which may be available on your SIM card. For moreinformation, contact your service provider.Security moduleThe security module improves security services for applications requiring abrowser connection and allows you to use a digital signature. The securitymodule may contain certificates as well as private and public keys. Thecertificates are saved in the security module by the service provider.To view or change the security module settings, select Menu > Settings >Security > Security module sett..CertificatesImportant: Even if the use of certificates makes the risks involved inremote connections and software installation considerably smaller,they must be used correctly in order to benefit from increased security.The existence of a certificate does not offer any protection by itself; thecertificate manager must contain correct, authentic, or trustedcertificates for increased security to be available.
