Lift the cover in the direction of the arrow from the bottom of the phone to the top.
16DraftReplace the back cover1. With back of the phone facing you, allign the tabs at the top of the cover into the slots at the top of the phone as shown with the arrows. (Illustration 1)2. Press tabs along the sides with thumbs in order shown to snap into place working your way toward the bottom of the phone. To secure the cover, press in the curved area at the bottom and snap cover into place. (Illustration 2)3. If the cover is not securely fastened, first make sure the tabs at the top are secured correctly. Charge the BatteryGet Started 19DraftCharge the Battery1. Connect the charger to a wall outlet.2. Connect the charger to the device.3. When the device indicates a full charge, disconnect the charger from the device, then from the wall outlet. You do not need to charge the battery for a specific length of time, and you can use the device while it is charging. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made.AntennaYour device may have internal and external antennas. As with any radio transmitting device, avoid touching the antenna area unnecessarily while the antenna is transmitting or receiving. Contact with such an antenna affects the communication

Do not connect products that create an output signal as this may cause damage to the device. Do not connect any voltage source to the Nokia AV Connector.When connecting any external device or any headset, other than those approved by Nokia for use with this device, to the Nokia AV Connector, pay special attention to volume levels.

To activate Word Mode, press the Left Soft key, scroll to Word, and then press the ( ) key. 2. To write the desired word, press the keys 2–9. Press each key only once for one letter. • If the displayed word is not correct, press ( ) repeatedly to select from other options.• If the desired word is not found in the dictionary, delete your entry, press the Left Soft key to switch to Abc or ABC Mode, and then re-enter your word.3.
