Assisted GPS (A-GPS) is a network service that sends youGPS data, improving the speed and accuracy of the positioning.Wireless local area network (WLAN) positioning improves position accuracy whenGPS signals are not available, especially when you are indoors or between tallbuildings. With cell ID based positioning, the position is determined through the antennatower your mobile device is currently connected to.When you use Maps for the first time, you are prompted to define the internetaccess point to use to download map information, use A-GPS, or connect to a WLAN.The availability and quality of GPS signals may be affected by your location, satellitepositions, buildings, natural obstacles, weather conditions and adjustments to GPSsatellites made by the United States government. GPS signals may not be availableinside buildings or underground.Do not use GPS for precise location measurement, and never rely solely on thelocation information provided by GPS and cellular networks.Note: Using WLAN may be restricted in some countries. For example, inFrance, you are only allowed to use WLAN indoors. For more information, contactyour local authorities.Maps© 2010 Nokia. All rights reserved.66DRAFTRM-659 03 Aug 2010

The exposure guidelines for mobile devices employ a unit of measurement knownas the Specific Absorption Rate or SAR. The SAR limit stated in the ICNIRP guidelinesis 2.0 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged over 10 grams of tissue. Tests for SAR areconducted using standard operating positions with the device transmitting at itshighest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. The actual SAR level ofan operating device can be below the maximum value because the device isdesigned to use only the power required to reach the network. That amountchanges depending on a number of factors such as how close you are to a networkbase station. The highest SAR value under the ICNIRP guidelines for use of the device at the earis 0.61 W/kg.Use of device accessories may result in different SAR values. SAR values may varydepending on national reporting and testing requirements and the network band.Additional SAR information may be provided under product information atwww.nokia.com.Your mobile device is also designed to meet the requirements for exposure to radiowaves established by the Federal Communications Commission (USA) and IndustryCanada. These requirements set a SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gramof tissue. The highest SAR value reported under this standard during productcertification for use at the ear is 0.92 W/kg and when properly worn on the bodyis 1.53 W/kg.Product and safety information© 2010 Nokia.
