Note: The phone being connected must have Bluetooth® functionality enabled. Using the button and the proceed as follows: 1. 2. 3. 4. buttons on the ACM (audio control module), Press MUTE/PHONE to access the main menu. Use SEEK buttons to navigate to BLUETOOTH and select using MUTE/PHONE. Once inside the Bluetooth directory navigate to ADD PHONE and select using MUTE/PHONE. The ACM will display BONDING and then the PIN number to be entered. The Bluetooth module will remain in the bonding state for 5 minutes while you then put your phone in "search" mode to find the car's Bluetooth device, Mobile-Ease. Your phone's user manual will aid in this function if unclear. Connecting to a Previously Bonded / Paired Phone The following will show the steps required to connect to a previously bonded / paired phone. Using the 1. 2. 3. 4. button and the buttons on the ACM, proceed as follows: Press MUTE/PHONE to access the main menu. Use SEEK buttons to navigate to BLUETOOTH and select using MUTE/PHONE. Once inside the Bluetooth directory navigate to SELECT PHONE and select using MUTE/PHONE Use SEEK buttons to navigate to desired phone and select using MUTE/PHONE. The ACM will then display "connecting". You should then see the name of your phone and then "connected." Deleting a Previously Bonded / Paired Phone The following will show the steps required to delete a previously bonded/paired phone. Using the 1. 2. 3. 4. button and the buttons on the ACM, proceed as follows: Press MUTE/PHONE to access the main menu. Use SEEK buttons to navigate to BLUETOOTH and select using MUTE/PHONE. Once inside the Bluetooth directory navigate to DELETE PHONE and select using MUTE/PHONE. Use SEEK buttons to navigate to desired phone and select using MUTE/PHONE. The ACM will then display "CONFIRM DEL". Press MUTE/PHONE and the phone will be deleted. Deleting All Previously Bonded / Paired Phones The following will show the steps required to delete all previously bonded/paired phones. Using the 1. 2. 3. 4. button and the buttons on the ACM, proceed as follows: Press MUTE/PHONE to access the main menu. Use SEEK buttons to navigate to BLUETOOTH and select using MUTE/PHONE. Once inside the Bluetooth directory navigate to DELETE ALL and select using MUTE/PHONE. The ACM will then display "CONFIRM DEL". Press MUTE/PHONE and all previously bonded/paired phones will then be deleted. INCOMING CALLS Accepting an Incoming Call When receiving a call there are two methods of accepting the call 1) by pressing the MUTE/PHONE button on the ACM and 2) pressing the SEND button on the SWC. Ending a Call in Progress To end a current call there are two methods, 1) by pressing the MUTE/PHONE button on the ACM, and 2) pressing the END button on the SWC. Screening an Incoming Call If you do not wish to answer the incoming call you can simply press END and the caller will be directed to voicemail. OUTGOING CALLS "Dial Number" via VR 1. 2. 3. 4. Press the "Voice" button located on the steering wheel to enter a voice command Speak "Dial Number" to make an outgoing call using a phone number Clearly speak the number you will to dial Listen to the number to ensure the VR correctly interpreted the phone number a. Speak "Cancel" to exit the system and start over b. Speak "Correction" to reenter an incorrect number 5. Look at the number being displayed on the GUI to ensure the number is correct 6. Speak "Dial" to dial the number "Redial" via VR 1. Press the "Voice" button located on the steering controls 2. Speak "Redial" to make an outgoing call using the last number called on your phone 3. Look at the number being displayed on the GUI to ensure the number being dialed is correct a. Press the "End" button located on the steering wheel to end the call "Dial Name" via VR 1. 2. 3. 4. Press the "Voice" button located on the steering wheel to enter a voice command Speak "Dial Name" to make an outgoing call using an audible name Clearly speak the name of the person you wish to dial Listen to the name to ensure the VR correctly interpreted the name spoken a. Speak "Yes" to begin Dialing the number associated with the name spoken b. Speak "No" to renter the name you wish to dial from the "Name Directory" "Redial" via ACM 1. Press the "Phone / Mute" button to enter MOBILE-EASE 2. Use the "Å Seek" or "Seek Æ" buttons located on the radio to find "Phone Redial" in the GUI 3. Press the "Phone / Mute" button to begin dialing the most recent dialed number in you phone "Call History" via ACM 1. Press the "Phone / Mute" button to enter MOBILE-EASE 2. Use the "Å Seek" or "Seek Æ" buttons located on the radio to find "Call History" in the GUI 3. Wait for the MOBILE-EASE System to download your call history from your phone's call history 4. Use the "Å Seek" or "Seek Æ" buttons to scroll through your call history 5. Press the "Phone / Mute" button to select the number you wish to dial from your call history "Ending Calls" 1. Press the "End" button located on the steering wheel to end the call PHONEBOOK ENTRIES "MOBILE-EASE" Phonebook 1. 2. 3. 4. Press the "Voice" button located on the steering wheel to enter a voice command Speak "Name Directory" to enter the Mobile-Ease phonebook of nametags Speak the name of the person you would like to dial in your Mobile-Ease phonebook Listen to confirm that the name repeated is the name you would like to dial a. Speak "Yes" if the name repeated is correct b. Speak "No" if the name repeated is incorrect 5. If you spoke "Yes", Mobile-Ease will begin to dial the number associated with the name in the Mobile-Ease phonebook 6. If you spoke "No", please repeat the name of the person you would like to dial in your Mobile-Ease phonebook "Phone's" Phonebook 1. Upon bonding / pairing a phone to the Mobile-Ease system, your phone's phonebook will be temporarily downloaded into the Mobile-Ease system a. In the case that your phone's phonebook exceeds 500 entries, the Mobile-Ease system will not download your phonebook 2. Press the "Phone / Mute" button located on the radio to display "Phonebook" in the GUI 3. Press the "Phone / Mute" button again to access your phone's phonebook 4. Use the "Å Seek" or "Seek Æ" buttons to scroll through your phonebook 5.
