Keeping the Battery
Charged
The battery you installed in your
Microsoft Phone handset is a nickel-
cadmium battery that should give you at
least a year of service with normal use.
Battery Duration
When fully charged, the battery will give
you approxrmately:
. 8 hours of talk time
- 7 days in standby mode
Once the battery is fully charged, you
need to put the handset in the charging
cradle only when the Low Battery (Lo
Batt) light flashes. if it is more conve»
nient. however, you can leave the handset
tn the cradle all the time it is impossible
to overcharge the battery.
Q When to replace the battery
If you have charged the battery for a full
IO hours and yet can use the phone for
only a few minutes it is time to replace
the battery with a new one. You can use
any of the following types of batteries:
' 600mAh
- 720mAh
To Install a new battery:
1 Remove the battery cover.
2 Remove the battery pack and unsnap
the connector,
3 Snap in the connector of the new bat—
tery and place the battery pack within
the case. Replace the cover.
4 Place the handset in the charging
cradle and charge the battery [or a
minimum of 10 hours before using it

Synchronizing Your
Handset
To assure privacy when using your
Microsoft Phone, you must synchronize
the handset with the base station
This ensures that the base station
will transmit signals to your
handset only. and not to a simi-
lar handset in a nearby apart-
ment or house.

Keeping the Battery
