1 Unpack the Box

dealer if any component is missing or damaged,

The SprintScan 4000 SCSI ID is preset to 6 with lhe lcrmunnmn
set to on. You do not need to change the SCSI ID number unless
you determined in step 2 that another SCSI device i\ uoug this
ID. You may need to change the termination ifthe scannet is Inst
device in the SCSI chain.
To change the ID:
1 Ensure scanner is off,

SCSI Guidellnes
You can connect up to 7 SCSI devices to your computer. One
device is connected to another in 3 SCSI chain. The last device in
the SCSI chain has the its termination set to on.
If the scanner is the only SCSI Device
The scanner termination is set to on,
