Transmitter contains no user serviceable parts. OPERATION Controls Transmitters are custom labeled, and may be equipped with a “SHIFT” or “ALT" button to provide multiple functions for each nutmn. Take time to become familiar with the operation and arrangement of the buttons before operating equipment. Batteries The T—S transmitter operates from a standard 9»volt battery. The T— S—SM transmitter operates from a pair of‘iAAA” batteries. Alkaline batteries generally provide longest life. If recharg able batteries are used) NiMI—I type are recommended. T-5 Batteries are accessible by a battery compartment door on the back of the transmitter. T-S batteries are inside of the [ransmiflcn A small phillips screwdriver is needed to replace T—S—SM batteries. To ensure maximum battery life, be sure to turn the transmitter OFF when not in use. Remove batteries prior to shipping or storing transmitter. Transmitter/Receiver Matching Transmitters and receivers are shipped from the factory as matched pairs. Ifa new transmitter is to he used, it must be trained to operate the receiver. Training procedure: 1. Power on transmitter and receiver. 2. Press “LEARN” button on receiver. 3. Troubleshooting: ISSUE SOLUTIONS Transmitter not working. LED not on or blinking. Install new batteries. Make sure power switch is pressed (ifapplicable) 'l'tansmitter not working. LED on or blinking. Install new batteries. Make sure receiver is powered. Check receiver fuse. Make sure transmitter is in range of receiver. Make sure transmitter and receiver are matched. Poor range. Check receiver antenna and cable for loose connections or damage, Install new batteries. Obstructions, interference, and adverse weather can affect range. One or more functions do not operate properly. Verify receiver wiring is correct. Verify Control device is operational (solenoid valve, pump, ctc.) Inspect transmitter, receiver, and cabling for damage. (Do not open.)
