These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. Conformity is declared by the application of EN 55022 and EN 55024  EC declaration of conformity This product conforms to the provisions of Council Directive’s EMC Directive (2004/108/EC), Low Voltage Directive (73/23/EEC), and R+TTE Directive (1999/5/EC).  Exposure to Radio Frequency (RF) Signals This wireless capable phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the U.S. Government and the Ministry of Health (Canada), Safety Code 6. These limits are part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy for the general population. The guidelines are based on the safety standards previously set by both U.S. and international standards bodies. These standards include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.  This device and its antenna must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. The radiating element of the base station should be installed during operating at a separation distance greater than 20 cm between user and device. This device complies with the requirements for routine evaluation limits.  Privacy of communications may not be ensured when using this device.

The equipment must be placed indoors and connected to indoor networks only.  General Warnings The following safety warnings apply: • Mechanical hazards and electrical shock hazards are possible if you remove one or more of the modules. There are no operator-serviceable modules. Only qualified personnel should service this equipment. • This equipment must be connected to a protective ground according to the instructions in this manual. Improper grounding may result in electrical shock. • This equipment does not provide safety isolation between any port that is connected to a digital network termination point or any port to which terminal equipment is connected. • The wall circuit breaker provides the main protection for this equipment.  Modifications not expressly approved by Aastra Telecom Inc. could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
